  Meet Emmy, a vibrant Plott Hound, who has a heart as warm as her short brown brindle coat. Aged 3 years and weighing 42 pounds (she still has some filling in to do), she is filled with sweet energy that is contagious! Emmy is not just sweet, she is also smart. She can quickly pick up commands and is always eager to learn more. She knows “sit, shake and lie down”. Emmy is allergic to chicken so she will need special dog food. Her intelligence is matched by her playfulness, making her a delightful companion. Emmy's energy and intelligence make her perfect for an active household! Her sweet nature means she’ll fit right into a family with other pets . Emmy's got all the qualities of a loyal and loving pet. She is waiting to bring joy, fun and love into your home! Adopt Emmy and let her brighten your life with her sweetness, energy, and intelligence! (ME, 4/16/24)     **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . Story
Ella is a gentle dog, but she does have a lot of muscle. Great with kids and other dogs. Likes to play with cats, but we’ve never had any issues with her hurting them. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same thing about our livestock. She doesn’t maul them or viciously attack them, but more plays with them like toys. She has killed a lot of our poultry and rabbits. She doesn’t eat them, she shakes them and pulls out their feather, but does end up killing them in the process. She’s a loving sweet dog that loves to run. She does know her name, but her breed does better tethered or leashed when lose as she does not return when called. It’s only because of our livestock that she cannot stay with us any longer.

KAI IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    Meet Kai, or as he’s lovingly called Kaigaroo because he acts like he’s pure bred kangaroo and will hop around the yard as if he was one. He’s a sweetheart who loves cuddles and loves to follow you everywhere trying to be a little helper. He’s been working on his training and knows quite a few commands as well as being kennel trained. He’s a very good boy and has a big heart just waiting to hop into yours. He is good with kids and other dogs. He loves wrestling/ playing in the yard with his foster fur siblings. He is a year old Plott Hound Mix and 40lbs.  Kai is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $550 and that includes his transport to VA. Chase spends his days running around and playing in the yard with his siblings. He is good with other dogs and children. He loves to play with toys and sticks. Chase is a sweet and loving puppy. She is a calm sweet girl who loves to please people. She walks well on a leash. Skye likes to play and run around with her brother, but she really just wants to cuddle up and lay around and nap. Skye is good with other dogs and children. This girl is gentle, amazing, and deserves the perfect forever home! She is fully vetted including spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. Her adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. This boy was part of a neglect/ hoarding case. He is very friendly… with everything! He likes people, kids, either dogs…..not sure on cats but we’re sure he would do well. He has a wonderful personality, he does not need to be in charge. He does well with other dogs and is good on a leash. He loved everyone at an adoption event, he does not meet a stranger!! He is a super good boy who is ready to finally find a home of his own. He will need housetraining but we think he does have some training already. He listens well, just needs some work on manners. He does jump when excited so beware smaller kids. He would do well with a yard or plenty of exercise. An active family would be best as he does not like to sit still when around people, he’s just too excited and happy. He is ready to find his own energetic family.
