Story
Falcon is the sweetest boy! He is very shy and takes a little while to warm up to people, but with another dog around he quickly perks up and comes out of his shell. Even when shy, he still accepts pets and is so submissive. He is doing very well with walking on a leash, loves his crate, and seems to be fully housebroken after just one accident the first day in his foster home. He is starting to get comfortable asking for pets and affection from his foster family.
We would like to adopt Falcon to a home with another dog as he displays more of his personality and is much more relaxed around other dogs.
After being abandoned by another rescue organization, and left in a boarding kennel for 9 months as a puppy he spent four weeks learning basic obedience skills with a wonderful trainer.

The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.
If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation.
