Story
Hello, my name is Jasper. I was named after the gemstone, Jasper. I am as sweet as a sugar, but as playful as can be. I am always happy to see you. I am loving life. My new family has to like a fellow with a lot of energy. My new family I would like to hike, go to the beach, go camping, and love to play in the backyard. My original family kept me tied up with little water and even a smaller amount of shade. The lady who rescued me along with my friends Terra and Osa knew I did not have any chance of surviving. So, like she has with so many human parents, go up and demand I am released. Not just because it was right, but because she knew it would be saving my life. Happily, 2 years ago I was surrendered to my rescuerer's rescue. Today everything is forgotten. But for sure, I want my own family. It does not matter if they have a fur sibling for me or not. I will bring so much joy and many hours of happiness. Please request an application, place a deposit to start my journey home. Jasper Male Neutered Breed English Pointer mix color White and black Age 5 yrs old Weight 45lbs Great with people, children, dogs/ puppies Adoption Donation $355 Carlton Rescue- Operation Puppy Love 501c3 ❤️ 🐾 🐾 ❤️ (Like us on Facebook)

Story
Callie Local is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! A sweet & shy 6-year-old Pointer Lab mix who recently lost her mom and is looking for a loving home to help heal her heart. She’s slowly coming out of her shell in foster care and would love a cozy couch to call her own. Callie enjoys spending time in the yard, soaking up the sun, and relaxing in a peaceful environment. She gets along with other dogs but prefers slow, gradual introductions. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion who just needs a little time and patience to blossom, Callie could be the perfect match for you! A fenced yard is required. If you are interested in adopting this dog please complete the adoption application at www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form to become a pre-approved adopter. If you were already approved through Rhode Home Rescue within the last 6 months, contact us today! Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 40 lbs  Age 2 years       Sweet Stubby was found wandering alone in a rural part of Mississippi, and taken in by an elderly man who fell in love with this gentle boy but couldn’t keep him. He called Wags for help and the rescue took him in, The man’s grandson named him Stubby for his little short legs!     Stubby is a sweet boy, he is gentle and gets along fine with all the dogs at the rescue. He was recently neutered and has all his vaccinations and is ready for a loving home. Stubby absolutely loves to be with his people, he follows the director of the rescue all over the property, his little tail wagging. He is gentle with children and just a great family dog. Stubby is house trained at Wags but like any rescue may need a refresher while he adjusted to a new home.   Stubby is ready to come to the northeast on Saturday, March 8. He will make a wonderful member of the family.       Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Yes, dog-savvy catsGood with kids: Yes, dog-savvy childrenCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: Mostly  Spotty is a lovable pup who lives life to the fullest! He is a medium energy pup, who loves to romp and play outside, and then nap (preferably in a spot by the window where the sun shines).  Spotty is a sweet, submissive boy who will fit in easily with most any dog crew. He is fostered in a multi-dog home and plays wonderfully with dogs of all ages and sizes. He loves playing tug of war with his foster brother. Spotty generally ignores cats so would likely be fine co-existing with a cat. He is gentle and patient when meeting children and would do well in a family with dog-savvy children who want to play with him.Spotty is eager to please and is very food motivated. He is fully crate trained and sleeps soundly in his crate overnight and has been crated for a few hours at a time during the day. He is mostly house trained and does best when kept on a regular schedule. He has mastered “touch” and is working on learning to “sit” on command. Spotty is making progress on his leash training, he has a little zig zag walk, but is making progress each day. Could this handsome boy be the one for you? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.lasthopek9.org.
