Story
Rocky has been a long stay in boarding while we got this little chowder head to focus. Apparently his live had started with best guess, young boys, because his exuberance was over the top. We have finally gotten him under control. Other dogs still correct him at times because he just can't get that meet & greet scenario down pat, again exuberance. He is a very loving dog and would love the opportunity to live with someone who loves the outdoors and hiking. Sorry no apartments for this boy.

KIRA IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE ADOPTED!     Meet Kira! She is such a happy pup with a gorgeous smile always on her face. She is a sweet and loving pup. Kira loves running around and playing in the yard with her toys and fur siblings. She is good with other dogs and children. After playing, she is down to cuddle and take a nap. Kira is super sweet, likes everyone she meets, and gives everyone kisses. She is house broken , crate trained, and leash trained. Kira wags her tail a million miles an hour anytime she is given attention. Kira would make a great addition to your family! She is completely vetted. Vetting includes spaying/neutering, microchip, rabies as well as all puppy vaccinations, and has been on preventatives. Her adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to PA. Story
Princess was surrendered to a rescue when her owner could no longer care for her. She was living in a bad situation and kept in a crate most of the time. Before this, she was raised with her owner and had exposure to grandchildren and some family, but Princess was not socialized outside of the home. She came to the rescue very frightened of everything and everyone, she was almost feral (wild) in her behaviors. She slowly came out of her shell and learned that noone was going to hurt her - now she is happy, playful and full of personality with everyone she knows. She is still fearful of strangers, but with patience and time we know she will very quickly learn to trust a new person and become a wonderful family dog for someone very lucky.

I'm guessed to be a pointer mix and am about 35lbs.* I love romping around with other dogs and finding the perfect toy to play with. I love stuffed toys, bones and chasing toys outside.* I adore attention from people, the company of other dogs, and am always up for a good cuddle session.* I do very well in my crate (when I'm scared jazz music helps calm me) and am making great progress on my house manners. * I am currently working on the "sit" command and am eager to learn. I am food motivated, so that is a big training plus!* I'm still a puppy, so please be patient with me when I make a mistake or forget my manners. Continued training and daily exercise would be appreciated.* I would love a family that has a way for me to run around and play with other dogs, either at my new home or at a dog park/play date.* After the rain this past week, I had a blast playing in the water and running around getting wet!This girl is super sweet, cuddly and adorable! Don't wait to apply to adopt - she won't last long!

Meet Omar! This handsome hunk was found as a stray and held by his finders for two weeks before making his way here to Hillside. He is a gentle and sensitive guy, but once he sees you aren't a threat he is a happy-go-lucky pooch! He doesn't seem to like other dogs, so a home where he can be the king of the castle is best!
