Cody is a 6 year old pointer mix adopted from a shelter in 2018. He is a good dog at home and with people. He has lived with adults for 5 years and has not been around children or other pets. He loves treats, car rides and belly rubs. He would do well with an energetic and experienced owner with a large yard or country setting.

Story
Rebel is a spunky 3-5yr old. She was spayed right before leaving the shelter, so resting and being on pain meds for her first few days with us led to a good relationship with our older dog, who is very chill and gentle. However, in trying to integrate her into our broader life, we have learned she is reactive to other animals. More importantly, after a couple of months with us, we have accepted that even with behavior training, our life and home are not what is best for Rebel. Recently we took her to a MUCH larger fenced property for a few days and she was so happy being able to do bigger zoomies and run super fast! Rebel has a very outgoing personality, and despite being an active breed, she also loves to snuggle. She'll fall asleep with her head on your shoulder if you let her. We want to do right by her and find the right home environment, and owner who can commit to continued training. Willing to drive up to 250 miles from Austin. Adoption includes her new crate, bed, harness, etc.
