Story
Meet Reney, a 6-year-old Pug mix! She wears a short tan and white coat, and has reached her mature weight of 25 pounds. This resilient girl has faced some challenges, but nothing can keep her spirit down. Reney was diagnosed with heart worms when she first arrived, but thanks to the dedicated care she received, she has been treated. Reney also had bilateral cherry eyes that were removed. Reney is a playful, medium-energy dog who loves to explore the outdoors and make new canine friends. She’s now looking for a forever home where she can share her love and bring endless smiles. Adopt Reney and let her fill your life with happiness! (ME, 8/1/24)     **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  August 18, 2024, 2:19 pm

Story
Jet needs a new home where he can have some freedom, attention and relaxation. He is an old dog who was never used to being around children, and has not done well since we had kids. We have two small children and we need to keep them separated from Jet because he gets nippy when someone does something that scares him, but it is difficult and the situation is not fair to Jet. We would love for him to find a new home where he can the attention he deserves. He has no known medical issues and is up to date with annual vet visits and shots. We rescued him so we don't know how exact age but it's around 12.

Story
Meet Daniel!  Daniel is a senior guy who unfortunately found himself in a local shelter in NJ. We hate to see a de senior in a shelter so PPAR took him in and he's been with a foster home.He likes to be close to you but not on top of you. When he’s relaxed he likes to lay down nearby and can sleep most of the day. When he’s active he enjoys a walk and playing a little bit with our golden. He has a good appetite and drinks well. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. We would love to find a loving home for Daniel to live out his senior years.  He is dog friendly but would also do well as an only dog. If you are interested in Daniel please apply https://peytonsplaceanimalrescue.org/adoption-application/ ##2105795##

These adorable pug mixes have been through so much in life, and while not all of it has been kind, they are still so sweet, loving, and ready to find happiness in their new forever homes! Rare and beautiful, a wonder to behold, that’s our girl Emerald! This precious girl is a 1.5-year-old Pug mix who weighs 15 pounds. She was rescued from an awful hoarding situation in Marion County, South Carolina, and she is now spending her days learning what it means to be loved and safe. She is still working through her shyness as she acclimates, but as soon as you put her in your arms, she clings to you and hopes for your hugs. Emerald does well with other small dogs, cats, and calmer children who can respect her space as she gets used to her new surroundings. Her beautiful white, black, and tan markings are so lovely and unique like the rare gemstone for which she was named. Emerald is ready to be loved and cared for the way she deserves. She hopes you will give her the life she longs for and show her the kindness she was always meant to receive. Apply to adopt Emerald today at www.homeforgooddogs.org!
