Meet Reina!
Reina is an 8-month-old, 10-pound Pug mix from NYC, and she’s the ultimate cuddle bug! This sweet girl has adjusted wonderfully to city life and is learning to balance her love for snuggles with her playful side. She’s starting to enjoy toys and wrestling with her foster sister—and she’s a certified chicken enthusiast who makes an excellent movie date.
Reina is a smart and eager learner! She’s working on her “sit” and “stay” and has been making steady progress with potty training. With a little consistency, she’ll have it down in no time! She’s also fantastic on a leash, frequently checking in with her walker and happily following their lead. She gets a bit distracted saying hello to every person and pup, but with her adorable prance, no one seems to mind.
This gentle, curious, and affectionate pup is looking for a low-key family to continue reinforcing her progress. She’s working on crate training—though she’d much rather be curled up in a warm lap. She’ll occasionally protest with a little cry, but she settles down quickly.
Reina absolutely LOVES to be cozy and can often be found tucked into her favorite blanket. She enjoys both downtime and playtime—especially if there’s a squeaky toy involved! She would do well as a solo pup or with a dog sibling who matches her energy level. Reina is also kid-friendly and would thrive in a home where someone is always ready to offer her a quiet lap to snuggle on.

Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, bordetella, and Lepto. Neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available.
