CHERRY is a well-behaved good girl who would fit into any home environment, she adjust very well.  I do not have a shelter and CHERRY is in my home along with her daughter.  She came from a friendly home environment that took good care of her and just did not think about the breeding, the dogs were considered their pets but they did not believe in spay/neuter. If you are interested in CHERRY or her daughter SUNNI please submit an application on the website below.  SUNNI is 4 months old and 6 pounds. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Story
Meet Lyla, a roughly 2-year-old female pug. Lyla came to our rescue through The Pug Queen Foundation in Los Angeles. Lyla was originally used for breeding in Mexico, but we don’t know much about her history. She’s had at least one set of puppies, but possibly more. She is an absolute love pug and follows her human around the house. She will paw at you for attention, and as soon as you sit down she is immediately on your lap. She has not been tested around cats or children, but she has a sweet demeanor. Lyla walks ok on a leash (some pulling), she is potty trained, and does ok in a crate overnight if she can see you. She would prefer to sleep in bed with her humans and would prefer to have access to the house or an area of the house while home alone. Lyla would do best in a home with someone who works from home, is retired, or with a family with opposite schedules as she has some separation anxiety. Lyla will need to go to a home who allows dogs on the furniture, as she jumps on the couch before her foster mom can sit down. Lyla is timid and extremely sensitive, she will need a quiet, and understanding home with gentle humans and other pets.  If you are interested in meeting her fell out an application today!  NY AG/MKTS RR 363Lyla is being fostered in BuffaloLyla's adoption donation is $650

Story
Meet Sandy Lou, a two year old female pug! Her petite size and frame makes us think she might be mixed with Chihuahua. Sandy Lou came to our rescue through The Pug Queen foundation in Los Angeleas. Sandy was originally pulled from a shelter in Mexico, so we don't know much about her history. She is full of spunk and energy, but settles down quickly for a good snuggle on the couch (even quicker if you have a blankie she can burrow under.) She loves to give "air kisses" and will gladly wrestle with an old sock if you have one to spare. Sandy has not been tested around cats or children, but she has a sweet demeanor and gets along well with the resident dogs at her foster home. Sandy Lou loves to go on walks, but pulls a bit so a harness is a must. She is mostly potty trained, with only having a few accidents in her foster home. She happly settles into a crate if you need to leave throughout the day, and sleeps well in it at night. However, she would prefer to sleep in bed with her humans, or anywhere you are sleeping if you happen to take a mid-day nap! Sandy will need to go to a home that allows dogs on the furniture, as she eagerly hops onto couches, chairs, and beds to be with her people. Sandy has a tendency to bark at those she doesn't know or new people in the house, but she's "all bark" (no bite or aggressive behavior!) and settles into a snuggle once she gets to know you. She is a little girl with a big personality! She would do well with a playful dog, a mellow canine companion, or as an only dog. Sandy will need patience and love until she realizes she is in a safe place. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out an application! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tiny is ready for her new home!  She is an 8 year old English Bulldog and is a not so tine 60 pounds! Tiny came to us when her family was no longer able to care for her and her sister.   Tiny embodies the quintessential characteristics of her breed - she's delightfully lazy, remarkably stubborn, and undeniably bossy, if given the chance! Despite these quirks, she has a heart of gold and is incredibly affectionate. There's one thing that truly gets her excited - her treats, especially when it's cheese time in her foster home!  One look at Tiny's face when it's time for a walk or a car ride, and you'll see pure joy. She loves getting baths and jumps into the tub, sitting patiently as she gets scrubbed up, relishing her very own spa day. Tiny is nicely crate trained and goes right in when asked.  She is also house trained, although she may need a gentle nudge in the morning due to her reluctance to rise and shine. Unfortunately, Tiny has a strong dislike for cats and will not hesitate to chase them, so a feline-free home is a must. As for other dogs, she generally gets along with them, except for the more boisterous types. It is kind of on her terms, so an owner who is familiar with bullies would be ideal.  Tiny came to us with some skin and ear/eye infections, which is very typical for English Bulldogs (EBDs). Her food was immediately switched to a fish-based diet and that has been a great help. She cannot have chicken or lamb. Her skin is still healing but with consistent bathing and time, it will be fine. Tiny also had a fatty mass (it was tested!) and now that she is spayed, it is slowly reducing in size. Tiny is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $500Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 16, 2024, 2:07 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Beautiful Jinx is finally ready for her new home and life! Jinx is an 8-year-old English Bulldog who came to us when her owners could no longer care for her. When she arrived, Jinx was not doing well - she was sick, had ear and skin infections, and her eyes were a mess due to dry eye and entropion. It took a couple of months to get her healthy enough to be spayed, and then we were able to get her eyes fixed! Although she still has dry eye, she is feeling and looking like a million bucks! Jinx is simply the best dog! She's like the queen of relaxation and firmly believes in not getting up before 10 am without a little help. If you're an early riser, you'll definitely need to sweet-talk her out of bed. During the day, you can find Jinx dozing off in her foster mom's office - she has a bit of a snore, so watch out! When she goes outside, she loves lounging in the sun after checking out the yard for any new discoveries. Jinx is completely house-trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside by heading for the door. She adores going for walks and gets super excited for any outing! Car rides are no problem for her. Jinx gets along great with dogs of all sizes, and the little ones love snuggling up to her for warmth. She has no issues with cats. Jinx is super laid-back and quiet – a real couch potato. She would be perfectly happy in an apartment setting. Friendly and open to new experiences, she loves meeting new people. Jinx needs a fish-based diet due to her chicken allergy. She occasionally receives Apoqul if needed, and requires eye drops twice a day to relieve dry eye.   Jinx is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She has also had double entropion surgery.  Her adoption fee is $450 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 16, 2024, 2:07 pm
