Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       &#226&#173&#144&#239&#184&#143&#226&#173&#144&#239&#184&#143 After two years Rodney‘s family decided they no longer have time for him and returned him to GAP. With no available foster homes he was dropped him at a boarding facility and drove away FOREVER. Rodney is a 4 y/o, 34lb, mixed breed. He’s an excellent car rider, walks well on a leash, is crate trained and low energy. Rodney loves attention and lots of snuggles. He would transition easily, into any home.  Rodney’s world has turned upside down, overnight. We cannot leave this poor boy in boarding. Please help us find a foster. For information on Rodney please email jgressette@sbcglobal.net &#226&#173&#144&#239&#184&#143February 17, 2025, 11:41 pm

Story
One-year-old Half Pint seems to be powered by a full tank of gas at all times. This is a man who likes being on the go! Half Pint’s preferred pastimes include going for walks, wrestling and running with other dogs, and raiding the toy chest so that he can play with ALL of the toys (bones, tug toys, and squeaky toys are his faves). In his quieter moments, he’ll curl up and cuddle with his people or other fur friends. His least favorite pastimes include going outside when it’s raining and being crated. Half Pint is housetrained and eats his meals politely. His ideal forever family will be as active as he is and ensure that he gets as much exercise as possible. We think that having another playful dog in the home would help with that! Although he loves all humans, he can get paw-sy when excited and therefore may not be the best match with a family who has small children. Half Pint is the perfect full-time playmate! If you’d like to make him a permanent part of your family, apply for him at dfwpugs.com.

Story
Eight-year-old Murphy is a handsome senior with an energetic side! He enjoys cuddling with his humans on the couch and watching TV, but also loves chasing other dogs and playing with toys. Murphy’s other favorite pastimes include going for walks, wolfing down his food, engaging in attempted food thievery from other dogs’ bowls, and snoozing in various locations throughout the house (including on human beds, under human beds, on the couch, and in the crate). Murphy is housetrained, crate trained, doggie door trained, and responds well to verbal corrections from his people. As a born explorer with a curious side, he is occasionally tempted to bolt out of the front door to see all of the happenings in the neighborhood; his ideal forever family will be prepared with bolting prevention tactics (which could include treats, as Murphy loves his food). If you’re looking for a senior who enjoys mellow moments and playtime in equal measure, Murphy could be the perfect companion for you! Apply for him at dfwpugs.com.

Story
Brother-and-sister pair Missus (9 years old, with black fur and a frosted face) and Mister (8 years old, with a fawn coat) are looking for their new forever home together! This outgoing and affectionate duo have Velcro tendencies who love cuddling and spending time with people of all ages as well as other dogs. Mister is the more active of the two; he loves to go for walks, whereas Missus tends to enjoy the couch potato lifestyle. At night, they snooze next to each other in their playpen area. Because of their social nature, Mister and Missus would do best in a home with at least one human who is home frequently. Both take daily eye drops and joint supplements to feel their best. If you’d like to make this loving and easygoing bonded pair part of your family, apply for them at dfwpugs.com!

Story
10-year-old Dougie Boy is a laid-back, gentle, and affectionate companion who prefers to stay close to his people. This distinguished senior may have a bit of hearing loss, but he still has plenty of zest for life and knows how to rock a t-shirt! His favorite activities include snuggling, riding in the car, playing with toys, going for leisurely walks, watching his humans prepare a delicious selection of wet food for him, and scarfing down his food quickly. Dougie Boy is housetrained and doggie door trained, but doesn’t love being crated and will tell you so. His ideal forever family will have a calm, relaxed home and provide him with as much companionship as possible, as he’s not a fan of solo time and likes to have body contact with his people. From the passenger’s seat to the couch, Dougie Boy is a loving and loyal companion! If you’d like to add this bright-eyed senior to your home, apply for him at dfwpugs.com.
