Story
Gemma has been in our family since she was about nine months old. We adopted her from a breeder who acquired her thru a surrender who was from Costa Rica. She is apprehensive of men and it takes her a few to warm up to a man. She prefers women. She will be eleven in June. She has had incontenance since she was spayed at one year but it has gotten worse in her old age. She is currently on medication to help control her irritation. She does wear a diaper constantly only to prevent her from leaking on floors and furniture. She is a very sweet girl with a sad melancholy demeanor. She loves being around other dogs, and weirdly she likes the little guys. She does currently live with a frenchie and has been around other bulldogs her whole life. She has a few lumps on her that vet said are noncancerous which is common. She is very protective of her house, so she will let you know who is on your property. She is used to running in a yard and leash walking can be a challenge.

Story
Odie is a one (1) year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, male dog. He is sweet, playful, smart and sensitive. He has a lot of Ridgeback personality characteristics. He’s house trained, knows commands and listens well. He loves to cuddle, get belly rubs, and snuggle next to you when you’re on the sofa. He loves human attention, and is always eager to engage. He rides in the car well, even on long trips. We bring him to the dog park every day for socialization and exercise. He loves playing with other dogs. He is very friendly with people. He is currently enrolled in basic obedience classes to reinforce what he already knows and learn new skills. We want him to be the best companion that he can be. He needs a lot of exercise and would benefit from a family that is active and can take him on multiple walks a day, in addition to the dog park. We adopted Odie only to find out that our other dog doesn’t get along with him. In addition, my son is allergic to him.

***Nicolai is heartworm POSITIVE as of December 12th and is on treatment. He can still be adopted at this time. We will supply adopter with a couple of months of meds to continue treatment until he is taken to a vet by adopter*** Nicolai is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport in one of the cities listed below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Nicolai is a male mixed breed, possibly Rhodesian Ridgeback and Black Mouth Cur (This is what our Apple AI guessed). -His teeth are really clean, so we are guessing he's around 1 1/2 years old. -His previous family moved and left him behind. -Our Animal Control Officer said he is very quiet and has not heard him bark yet. -Calm, well-mannered. -Nicolai is housebroken; he hates going to the bathroom in his kennel. -He is good with cats and is amazing with other dogs. Nicolai is neutered, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed, a *positive* heartworm test as of December 12. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $550 total, this is including all vetting above and $250 transport cost.
