Story
Sadie is a very sweet girl that was found as a stray in rural Stockton. She can be a bit timid at first, but quickly rolls over for belly rubs once she gets to know you. Since she was a stray we don't know too much about her, but we think she is about 2 years old based on her teeth. She has been at the shelter for enough time to leash-train her and determine she is good with other medium sized dogs introduced to her in play groups. The person who found her said that she rides very well in the car and didn't make a peep. She does have the standard Rottie docked tail. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped and she is ready to go home for an adoption fee of $300.00. Apply today for a chance to meet her! Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Bandit is a sweet senior who wants nothing more than your love. He is the perfect combination of sweet and shy that makes your heart melt. While his pictures make him look big, he is actually a pocket sized rottweiler mix at about 55 pounds. He loves his trusted humans unconditionally and wants to shadow you whenever he can. Bandit is guaranteed to add lots of love, kisses and cuddles to your life. Where there is warmth you will find Bandit; warmth from the sun, from a heater, from a fur friend or from a human. He sometimes thinks he’s a lap dog and will plop himself on your lap for a nap, taking comfort in being with his human. Check out Bandit's video playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVb0fq1O6CwlJxEafkJcZ23qSb8i_8EPM He loves to play with his foster sister and sometimes looks quite goofy, which just adds to his charming personality. He is crate-trained, fully house-trained and walks well on a leash. He is highly treat motivated and is learning in foster care to do things like sit, lay down, stay, be a gentleman, and wait. Bandit has lived with small dogs, dogs his size, adult men, and adult women and has done well with all. He does take a moment to warm up to new people, sounds, and places. Bandit has a few health issues going on that sometimes impact his behavior. He has hip dysplasia, hyperthyroidism, arthritis, and early stage kidney disease. While 99% of the time Bandit is an absolute sweetheart, if any of his medication is off, if he overdoes his physical exercise, or if he is feeling anxious he may growl or snap. Because of this, Bandit should only be adopted by an experienced dog handler. Bandit is currently on thyro-tabs, joint supplements, and anti-anxiety medication. The cost of all of his medication is less than $100 per month. Bandit deserves his forever family. If that might be you, be sure to fill out an adoption application: https://betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application/ Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will call you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training in order to ensure a successful adoption.

Story
Hi, I'm Clifford, and I'm one and a half years old. Unfortunately, my previous owners didn't feel the need to keep me anymore and just let me go. Fortunately, I stumbled across another family who loved me dearly. Still, they could not keep me due to circumstances that caused them to surrender me to DHS. I'm a strong yet well-trained rotwiller mix with a lovely black and brown coat. I'm a very well-mannered pup who can sit, give handshakes, and wait to eat. OH, and let me tell ya, I LOVE to eat, snack, and be given treats. With how much I love to munch, I also love to go on walks daily, which helps balance his eating habits. I also get along with other large dogs and love car rides.  ##2241420##

Story
Luna is a sweet girl. She just turned 1 in January. Her bday is January 15th. She has a dog sister and 2 cat brothers that she gets a long with. She’s very high energy as she is still young. Definitely requires a patient owner as she can be a lot on walks, she likes to pull and sniff everything. She does well with other dogs as long as introduced properly. She is fine with kids I have nephews ranging from 3-6, she’s never bitten anyone. Sometimes she forgets how big she is and walks around like a small puppy. She definitely needs lots of attention. Potty trained will let you know when she has to go to the rest room.

Story
This beautiful dog is Star. She was born 11/18/20 and is a very nice girl. She weighs 68 pounds. Star's owners were moving and were unable to take her along so we need a new place for her. She has lived in a home with older kids and did well. She is social with dogs out here in play groups, but she may get possessive of her family and so may do better as an only dog. She enjoys a game of tug and fetch and has been through obedience classes. She knows how to sit, lay down, shake and drop it. She is already spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Star has a blood clotting disorder so it will just need to be noted in her vet file. They have medications to keep her safe that can be given in the event she ever needed surgery. Other than that, she is a fun, active girl who would love to sleep in the house on a comfy bed. $250.00 adoption.
