Story
Meet Dijon, a young, playful, and sweet soul who is filled with energy and loyalty. His goofy antics will keep you laughing, and his bravery shines through in every new situation he encounters. Dijon is great with other dogs, making him a perfect companion for those with canine friends. However, he prefers a home without cats or young children. He requires an experienced owner who can match his energy and guide him. Dijon's playful spirit and unwavering loyalty make him the perfect addition to any family. He is ready to fill a home with laughter, joy, and unconditional love. Adopt Dijon and let his cheerful energy light up your life. Unfortunatley, Dijon does have a history of seizures and must be on prescription medication for the rest of his life. Dijon weighs 105lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 05/28/2022), and his adoption fee is $305. Dijon has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Dijon, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. Meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Story
Bear is a gentle giant who is highly trainable, respects boundaries, and never messes in the house. He knows where his bed is. Will herd you to the house if he hears animals in the woods. Chill and sweet. He has a predator tendency when he sees a cat or small dog and will attack them without listening to commands. We now have small children, and we need a smaller companion dog. Bear needs to be the only dog. We adopted him at age 3 from a teenager who got him as a puppy and rehomed him for the same reason. He is now 7. Super smart and comes when called. We will miss him terribly but think another family can give him a better life. He has always been good with kids but thinks he is a puppy size so knocks them down sometimes by accident. He has never been a leash dog but heels.

Story
Shannon is a young athletic Rottweiler/ Pointer mix looking for her forever family! She has a beautiful coat, and an athletic build! Shannon is estimated to be around 1yr old, and weighs 55lbs. She is dog friendly, and very playful. Shannon is working on her house training, crate training, and is learning her basic commands. She has a sweet and friendly personality. This deserving girl was picked up as a stray, then ended up at Walton Animal Control. She soon came down with a respiratory illness. BarkVille Dog Rescue pulled her, and she is now fully healthy and vetted, and ready for her forever family. Shannon has a medium energy level, and would benefit from a family who will provide her basic training and regular exercise. She can jump very high, and will need a tall privacy fenced yard, and owners who will keep an eye on this mischievous girl. Shannon would likely excel with agility training! Since she still needs to fine tune her manners, no small kids for this girl. If you&#39re interested in adopting Shannon, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.November 3, 2024, 9:25 pm
