Story
Shannon is a young athletic Rottweiler/ Pointer mix looking for her forever family! She has a beautiful coat, and an athletic build! Shannon is estimated to be around 1yr old, and weighs 55lbs. She is dog friendly, and very playful. Shannon is working on her house training, crate training, and is learning her basic commands. She has a sweet and friendly personality. This deserving girl was picked up as a stray, then ended up at Walton Animal Control. She soon came down with a respiratory illness. BarkVille Dog Rescue pulled her, and she is now fully healthy and vetted, and ready for her forever family. Shannon has a medium energy level, and would benefit from a family who will provide her basic training and regular exercise. She can jump very high, and will need a tall privacy fenced yard, and owners who will keep an eye on this mischievous girl. Shannon would likely excel with agility training! Since she still needs to fine tune her manners, no small kids for this girl. If you&#39re interested in adopting Shannon, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.November 3, 2024, 9:25 pm

Story
I need to rehome my one year old female Rottweiler puppy Roxie. She was my boyfriend’s dog but he could not keep her. I cannot keep her any longer because I am caring for sick elderly parents with mobility issues. She was born with a front left leg deformity but walks fine. She is up to date with vaccinations. She loves belly rubs. She loves chewing on bones, chew toys and tennis balls. She is still working on potty training and leash training. She goes potty outside in the grass with a leash. She knows the command sit, lay down, and up up the bed.

Story
Please say hello to this handsome young gentleman named Zion! Zion arrived at the shelter on 12/14 as a lost little boy. Zion is darling, very sweet, quiet and very cute. He is slowly adjusting to his new surroundings despite being placed in a loud, overcrowded shelter. He is simply gorgeous! He is super intelligent as he knows how to sit pretty well, stays, shake, and lay down. Perfect package! He is eager to please and a natural at learning new things. Zion is current on vaccines and neutered; he will be micro-chipped upon adoption. He tested negative for heart worms. Zion is a nice size of 39 pounds and he is just a year old. So he is still pretty young. He is more than ready to meet his new family. You will find Zion patiently waiting for you in Run 22. Zion's ID# is 6976. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
Meet Dijon, a young, playful, and sweet soul who is filled with energy and loyalty. His goofy antics will keep you laughing, and his bravery shines through in every new situation he encounters. Dijon is great with other dogs, making him a perfect companion for those with canine friends. However, he prefers a home without cats or young children. He requires an experienced owner who can match his energy and guide him. Dijon's playful spirit and unwavering loyalty make him the perfect addition to any family. He is ready to fill a home with laughter, joy, and unconditional love. Adopt Dijon and let his cheerful energy light up your life. Unfortunatley, Dijon does have a history of seizures and must be on prescription medication for the rest of his life. Dijon weighs 105lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 05/28/2022), and his adoption fee is $305. Dijon has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Story
Everly waqs born Mar 2019 and is a friendly, affectionate Boxer/Bulldog mix. She is a sweet, curious, playful girl who loves a soft bed, enjoys close physical contact with her humans, and likes to hold your hand or arm with her paw! She is a high energy girl who is progressing with her leash manners, has moments of running around the yard or in the house bounding on furniture, but is mostly a calm sweetheart who likes to curl up on the bed, couch, or dog bed to snooze. She likes other dogs, so we think she&#39ll do best in a home with a fenced yard and another dog for company. She is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, fully vaccinated & microchipped.November 3, 2024, 9:25 pm

Story
Tate was born in September of 2016 under a shed in a rural area outside of Atlanta and boy am I lucky that a rescue group found me and my siblings and took us in. My Mom was a Border Collie mix and I am not sure about Dad but he was obviously one handsome dude. I am house and crate trained. I am very nervous in new situations and with new people. Once I feel comfortable though I am just a big goofball and my favorite thing to do is snuggle. I prefer to stay inside where I feel safe so I will need someone to be patient with me and give me time to get acclimated. I will do best in a home without small children or other pets and with a fenced yard.November 3, 2024, 9:25 pm
