Hank is a wonderful 1 year old mixed breed dog who is looking for his forever home! He is full grown and weighs about 55 pounds. He is a high energy boy who is great with other dogs and with kids. However, he may be too much for toddlers and small kids since he loves to jump up while he is playing. He does not know his own size and he is still very much a baby himself. He has seen cats and he is curious about them. He loves to go on walks, but he needs a family who can take him on longer walks/runs to help with his energy. We also think that he would do best with a fenced in yard where he can be off leash and playing fetch or running around with another dog. This sweet boy has been with us since July 8th. We believe he was dumped in our neighborhood, so we decided to foster him instead of sending him to the already full shelter. Now he's searching for his forever family. He's a good boy, knows sit, shake and loves his belly rubs. The vet guesses he's around 1-2 years old. All of the vet techs loved him and said he was a sweet boy. He's happiest when he's around us but mostly just lays around. He would do best with older children because of his size and manners (he does need a little guidance - likes to steal toys and run). We're working on leash and crate training because it seems he's never had experience with either. He's a quick learner though.
