Meet JoJo! This 4-year-old Rottweiler is on the lookout for her forever home. JoJo is a friendly, social butterfly who adores being around people. With her sweet personality and laid-back demeanor, she`s more into relaxation than high-energy activities. JoJo does have some gastrointestinal issues we are working on treating, and it is possible that she may need to be on medication long-term. JoJo has a strong love for treats and can be a bit enthusiastic about them, so we recommend a home with children 12 and older to ensure nobody accidentally gets their fingers nipped. She walks gently on a leash and would make the perfect companion to take for walks. She`s also been tested with other dogs and did well, so she might enjoy a furry sibling if it`s a good match! JoJo is ready to shower her new family with love. Could she be the perfect addition to your home?

My names Taz! I am 10 months old and 60 pounds. I am sweet boy. I want nothing but love. I am a rottweiler, american bulldog, mastiff mix. I am here due to no fault of my own. I was surrendered because my owner passed away. I am learning not to jump on you. I do jump because I haven’t learned not to yet. I am good with children 5 and up. I am very hyper around toddlers, because I get so excited. I am crate trained! I’m still working on my potty training. I know how to sit. I haven’t learned what dog toys are here yet, but I love to chew on bones.

He’s very accustomed to the city environment, which includes loud noises, bikers, runners, and all sorts of busy day-to-day movement. He’s a trainable puppy curious about his surroundings. Ideally, his new home would have a yard for him to play in and a caring family who can manage his upbeat energy. Nala is in a foster home. Please call MHS at 219-872-4499 to adopt her. Calling all Boxer dog fans! One of our amazing volunteers was curious about Nala's breeds, so she ordered a DNA test...we now know that Nala is: 53.4% Boxer + 27.2% American Bully + 19.4% American Pit Bull Terrier! Talk about three amazing breeds combined to make one 100% good girl! And, oh yeah! Her adoption fee is sponsored to an approved applicant! She is always so wiggly. You would've never guessed she came to us starving and scared. Let's not forget that she has the BEST smile and she is always cheesing so hard that she squints! She is so very sweet and is always so excited to come out and play! We like to describe Nala as an independent gal but also very loyal to people. She would do fine as the only dog but also has done well with other playful pups. Nala has done well with kiddos about 8ish and up. She loves car rides and is always looking out the window. She's such a sweetheart. Nala's ideal family would be one where she can join them for daily walks. She would also love to play fetch with tennis balls because that makes her so happy! She is the best fetcher ever! She also loves sniffing through snufflemats. Nala is a treat-motivated gal! Oh, and another amazing thing about her is that she takes treats so gently. She is about six and a half years old and is spayed.
