Daisy is a gentle 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and kisses. She has no issues being left alone in the home. She enjoys playing with other dogs her size. Atticus Finch was a lawyer in the novel 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. Of course I'm not a lawyer but if I was, I'd make a great one! Lawyers have to be charismatic with their clients along with the people in court and boy do I have that down pat!! Everyone loves me and I love everyone, big people or the smaller versions and I also do great with other pups. I am a calm and snuggly soul that just wants to be with my person(s). I'm around 2 years old and love playing with the other foster pups here but I also love a good game of 'Tag' or 'Catch Me If You Can' with my people. My favoritest thing is getting ear scratches while I lay my head on your chest. Snuggles and ear scratches, what could be better?!! I come in at around 70ish lbs but that doesn't stop me from saving room for you on the couch for those beloved snuggles! Loki is a 7 year old Rottweiler. He's the biggest lover in the world- incredibly sweet. It's breaking my heart, but we had a baby 18 months ago and he hasn't adjusted well. Despite working with him, he's scared of our baby and doesn't want anything to do with him. He's jealous, guards us, and is peeing and pooping in the house in a way that seems intentional. We're under a lot of strain and not able to provide him what he needs. He has anxiety and needs a home where he can have a lot of 1:1 attention. He's crate trained, and has spent his whole life with us and his sister, Lexi, who is 8 (from same mom). I'm honestly conflicted about separating them, but struggling with the concept of losing both my babies and she hasn't had any issues. Open to rehoming if the fit was right. He isn't aggressive but hasn't spent time with other dogs except Lexi, so uncertain how he'd be with other pets. He's scared of cats (runs away). We want nothing but the best for him. He really is a sweetheart.

Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4-year old Rottie/Boxer mix that weighs about 65 pounds. She is beautiful gun metal grey with a brownish tint. She bonds very deeply like the Rottie to her person. She gets along with other dogs but she wants to be the only one for her particular person. She is on the quiet side as far as barking goes. She is lower on the shedding scale and has a nice soft coat. She has an adorable underbite. I think she would like to be a home body type dog and be around her person a lot. She would love her human to work from home or only work some days. She kennels up just by asking her to kennel up. She is very smart and takes direction well. She is a little shy in new settings and not all that interested in meeting new people. If you like the Rottie personality or the Dachshund personality you will like this dog. It is enjoyable to have a dog that is super loyal and not everybody’s dog. She would be great for an older single person or older couple that want a nice companion around the house. She would also be good for someone that is younger but more of a homebody time as well. She is super beautiful and is a head turner in looks. She is spayed, vaccinated and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200.
