There is a reason my name is Romeo…I will climb in your lap if you let me, I love to snuggle and I am very affectionate. I love to go for rides in the car, play at the park and go for walks on trails. I am friendly with people and love to play. I love to play ball and enjoy playing with the other rottweiler safe toys that my foster mom gives me. My favorite toy to play with is a giant rope bone! I do well with female dogs, but I do not get along with other male dogs. And as far as I am concerned cats look like great chew toys to me, so foster Mom says I need a home without cats.    I would do best in a home with a large fenced in yard where I can run and play, and with an owner who can provide leadership for me. I do well with older kids, but would be best in a home with out small children. I have had extensive obedience training and know all my basic commands. Name: Sokka Age/lbs 4 years old/75lbs Breed: We're guessing he's some sort of coonhound, shepherd, and rottie mix. Sokka came to the shelter as a stray, but he seems to have had a a home at some point. He is very affectionate, gentle, and playful. He is house trained and doesn't tear up his bed or toys. He knows "sit" but can get jumpy when overexcited, but he listens when corrected. He loves people and affection and will immediately seek out love! He is mild-mannered and a great combination of playful and couch potato. If you sit down, he'll sit right in your lap. He has not been tested with dogs or cats yet, but he doesn't appear bothered by the other shelter dogs. If you have a pet, we always recommend a meet and greet! He hasn't met any children yet, but he is gentle and sweet. He is already neutered and up to date on his shots. Check back in for more details as we get to know this sweet boy more.

Princess was born April 14, 2022 in Erwin Tennessee. Both dam and sire are known. We have pictures and their pedigrees. Princess is AKC registered, microchipped, and spayed. Will be professionally trained mid April 2025 with basic commands including recall command. Walks well on leash, house broken and very loving and playful. Princess does well with other male dogs but needs to be the only female in the home, especially with another alpha female. She has a very strong prey drive so no cats. She’s loving with our granddaughter (7 y/o) but would recommend full supervision around any age children, simply bcuz Princess has no idea of her size and can play rough. Her story: she was adopted to a couple with another male Rottweiller at 8 weeks old. In October 2024, her families home was damaged in Hurricane Helene - they could no longer care for Princess. She has been with us since. We are rehoming her bcuz our other alpha female Rottie does not get along with her. Ask about adoption fee

Carly is a wonderful dog who is extremely smart and well tuned to her humans' emotions. She loves giving and receiving affection, and will often reach up and give you hugs. She is great with dogs her own size or larger, but I would not recommend her to be in the same household with cats or dogs under 30 lbs. She knows basic commands and is easily trained. She's great on a leash. Carly wants to be with her humans all the time, unless it's to play with her dog friends! She'd happily share her home with dogs her own size or larger, though I'm sure she'd have no problem being the center of attention as well! We are looking to rehome her because we are dealing with a huge loss in our household and she is very sensitive to our emotions. Carly deserves to be happy and stress-free, and we cannot give her that for the foreseeable future. She deserves to go to a home and family where she is safe, loved, happy and whole.

Meet Sarge! Sarge is an 8 year old purebred Doberman looking for his perfect fit. He LOVES food and will do anything for a treat. He is crate trained and prefers to sleep in his safe space of the crate. He has been professionally e-collar trained and knows many commands such as heel, come, sit, down and place once trained to his new “place”. He loves to go for car rides and chase away any deer or squirrels from the area! A fenced in yard is a must! Sarge is high energy who acts much younger than his age. He is good with kids but because of his large size, high energy and occasional lack of spatial awareness, older kids would be best. He is not good with cats or small dogs. Larger dogs he can be aggressive with at first, but with proper introductions, he can get along with other large breed dogs.  Sarge will do best in a home that can give him lots of attention and exercise. He also needs an experienced large breed owner that can be his alpha.
