Story
Hi! I'm Arrow! I am from Missouri! I am a neutered parti-poodle. I am about 7 months old and 50 pounds. I am from a breeder release and am looking forward to having a new life snuggling with my family on a couch. I am dog and people friendly, but might need some time to warm up to new situations. Do you have a comfy spot in your home just for me? From his foster: Arrow is such a sweet, affectionate pup. He's extremely intelligent and eager to learn, as well as to please. He's quite curious, so it's best to keep an eye on him. He sleeps through the night and gently lets you know when he needs to go out in the morning, usually around 6am. He's still a puppy, so there is an occasional accident indoors. I took him out every 3 - 4 hours, which worked well. Arrow is great with other dogs and with people. He's playful and great at fetch! He's also quite obedient for such a young age. I live in a dog friendly building with shared walls and he did great in that environment.

Snapshot of Zoodle: Size? Large ~70 lbs Activity Level? Medium to high, loves walks and playing with toys. Noise Level? I bark to let you know when something is happening. Good with Dogs? Yes! Great with other dogs. Good with Cats? Unknown Good with Kids? Yes! Good with Strangers? Yes! Potty Trained? Yes! Crate Trained? Yes! Shedding? Minimal to medium About Zoodle: Hi, my name is Zoodle! I am a super friendly guy who loves being around people and other dogs. I'm a little over 1 year old and a poodle/goldendoodle mix. I am very playful, I love toys and enjoy being outside playing or just sniffing around. I'm a good cuddler and will lay on top of you whenever I gets the chance. Even though I'm a big guy, I like to pretend to be a lap dog. However if you tell me "not today and scooch to the side I am perfectly content with it. I'm always very happy and up for whatever. I know some basic training, such as sit, lay down, shake, and stay, but I've have been working well on come, no bark, and some walking skills. I'm really good on walks and I LOVE them - I'm still working on being better at my pulling and barking at other dogs in a friendly way. The only time I bark is when I'm with people and hears noises outside. At night, I can sleep well in my crate but I do love to snuggle up in bed. The best kind of home for me would be an active family or a person who I can be around a lot. I would love a backyard to explore and run around in, I'm super active and need my exercise. I would love having other dogs as siblings but also wouldn't mind being the star of the show. I am SO excited to meet my forever family! Zoodle is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. Story
June was born at a puppy mill. She and her siblings were rescued at 4 months due to lack of care. We adopted June and her sister, Olive, shortly after their rescue. June was shy and anxious to start but has since blossomed into an energetic and affectionate young dog. Unfortunately, we found that Olive and June are both dominate females that can not live in the same space. We have spent much time with trainers and June takes to training well, as long as it is consistent. She does well with other dogs as long as they are not overly aggressive or overly submissive. I believe this will improve with time away from her sister as well (since she is consistently around another dominant female, she is always on alert). I believe that June would be a great dog for a family with children.

Story
Hi! I'm Addeline. I am from Missouri. I am an 8 year old, 10 pound poodle. I am from a breeder release, but get along well with other dogs and people. My foster mom calls me Addie. I'm starting to recognize my name when she talks to me. I'm even starting to wag my tail just a tiny bit. The most important thing to know about me is that I am just starting to learn that humans can be good. It's going to take me a while to really trust my person. People in my past haven't been very kind to me. What I really want is a kind, gentle human who understands I will need to go at a slow pace in becoming part of the family. You can't change my past, but patience, consistency and love you can change my future. From her foster: Addie is the sweetest little thing that I want to snuggle so she knows she is safe now. But I don't because that isn't what Addie needs right now. What she does need is time and space to understand that life can be good. Her ideal human would be someone who will commit to allowing Addie to develop trust, confidence and love in baby steps. And having a calm companion dog to learn from would help her in that journey. Addie is a breeder release rescue. Addie is cautious and fearful of people right now. It's obvious she hasn't had a lot of positive human contact. It will take the right person and environment to help her learn life can actually be good and people can be loving. Addie is also smart, curious and wanting trust me. Even with all she has been through, Addie wants to bond. She has already progressed so much in the short time I've had her. Instead of hiding in the corner of her kennel, she is napping with her head resting on the open door as I write this. My desk a few feet from her. She is cautiously willing to let me come a bit closer to her, even taking a treat from my hand, as long as she can quickly retreat back to the safety of her kennel. We are able to be outside a few minutes longer each day as Addie gets used to sights, smells and sounds that she has probably not experienced before. We have been working on potty training. As I said, Addie is smart. She is catching on that we go outside to potty. I do have puppy pads all the floor outside her kennel in case of accidents. She is so small that she could also be fine with indoor potty pads. It's important that Addie always has a leash/harness attached when she is not in her kennel and gated area. She is so fearful that when startled she will try to run away. I have a long lead on her so she can explore but not escape. Inside the house Addie is most comfortable in her open door kennel with a puppy play pen attached to it. She eats in the play pen area but only if I turn my back and move away. When I leave the room she will venture out into the play pen. When I return she has started giving a tiny little tag wag before retreating back into the kennel. Baby steps. Baby steps. I do think Addie will be the sweetest little companion. It will just take the right person to help her get there. Update: Addie is making so much progress! After a grooming session to remove all the mats, she feels better and really is an adorable mini poodle under all that fur! The groomer said Addie was so so sweet and did really well. She is also doing well with potty training. We are working on learning to walk on a leash. And Addie has been so excited to meet some of the neighborhood dogs. She LOVES dogs that are calm and relaxed. Curious and interested, she follows them all over and eventually tries to initiate play. To see her little tail wag makes my heart swell. Addie will definitely do best in a home with another resident dog. Every day Addie takes baby steps toward learning how to trust people, feel safe and to be a companion pet. She spends less time in her kennel and more time hanging with us. Sleeping in a bed under my desk while I work, enjoying being scratch behind the ears and interested in relaxing on the couch with us while we watch TV. I think Addie even had a case of the zoomies the other night! Her growing confidence is such a delight.

Story
Location: Farmington, MN Hi! My name is Vincent, but my foster mom calls me Sweet Boy! I'm a very shy boy and am learning to settle into a home! I get along with my doggy siblings and am scared of my kitty siblings but I like to try to say hi to them! I love my foster mom, dad and little girl. I'm learning to potty outside, I got the popping outside down but still working on the peeing! Even though I've been through a lot I'm still very sweet and am learning how to be a dog a little more each day! -------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
