About Butterbean:
Hi there, my name is Butterbean!
I have lots of puppy energy, definitely, but I do settle down eventually, especially when the family is just hanging out. My foster mom works from home, and I’m happy to sit right next to her and relax while she works. I love to be with the humans and snuggle with them. Initially, I did bark when going into my kennel but once accumulated to going in at night, I don’t bark anymore! I’m not a big barker, but do let out an occasional excited “yip!” when I get excited during playtime and when someone walks into the house.
There is a dog in my current foster home. She doesn’t really want much to do with me, that’s fine, I’m not offended. We had the obligatory sniff off when we met, but now we just ignore each other. Although I sometimes I will nibble on things and/or humans, I am easily distracted by toys (toys are FUN!), and I do not get my feelings hurt by being told “no”. I understand what that word means, and I am a great listener! I LOVE kids because they have more energy to play with me than tired old adults.
I would do great in any home that is willing to give me lots of love! I will require a bit of patience as I finish out my potty training but considering how smart I am I’m sure I will pick up quickly. I can’t wait to meet you!
Butterbean is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for his age.
