He is an energetic guy who needs to get daily exercise. Chowder loves to play with chew toys and fetch a ball.   He is an outgoing boy who would do best in a home with no small children due to his rambunctious temperament. He needs to be with an experienced dog handler who can work with him on further training of the basic commands.  He gets along well with other dogs but can be a bit too assertive as he wants to play even if they don't want to be engaged.  Chowder rides well in the car, sleeps well in a kennel or corral and is house trained with access to outside.  He is up to date on his vaccines, neutered and microchipped. His Adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,   vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to  www.secondchancedogrescue.org  and complete an application today!    All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.  August 20, 2024, 9:46 am
