Story
This striking little Shar-pei/lab mix is Cecilia Cub brought into the program by our very own, Olga! Cecilia is right around a year old and weighs 45 lbs of pure love and sweetness! She has the absolutely cutest face and beautiful medium-length mocha colored coat! Her snout resembles a shar-pei and she is petite with long legs but like we always say … with rescue it’s just a guess! The cutest thing about this little angel pup … when she gets comfortable with her person/people she will do this adorable pitter pattering in her crate because she’s so excited to see you! She will lift her paw, begging to be let out of her crate so she can give lots of doggy hugs and kisses! She just wants to show you all the love! Cecilia is truly what love is made of! When you first meet her, she has this cute little series of hops, almost like a bunny, where she will jump to you then away from you trying to establish trust. She’s not fearful, it’s just her way of checking out new people as she needs time to warm up. If you sit or crouch she will immediately come to you … she feels more safe when you’re on her level. This precious girl just wants love and affections from her humans. She also displays the same hop/jump game when first meeting dogs - it’s almost like a game of tag and chase so she can make sure everything is a-ok! Cecilia is not a vocal dogs and rarely barks! She would do well in an apartment or condo as long as she received proper daily physical and mental stimulation. She is also completely house and crate trained. She rides well in the car and can easily get in and out on her own. She’d love to accompany her new person/people on errand runs and road trips! Cecilia walks so gently on leash! She’s still a young girl and can easily get sidetracked and stop to smell the roses! She’s treat motivated so continued training should be a breeze with this girl. She’s still young and very malleable so the sky’s the limit for sweet Cecilia! Shes such an amazing pup and so stable that our behavior team has been able to use her in assessments and playgroups consisting of dogs that vary in size (7 lbs to 90 lbs) and temperament. She’s an absolute rockstar and was even able to stay calm and keep her composure when a fight broke out in playgroup. This girl is truly the complete package and just needs the right home to call her own! The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Sasha is an amazing female shar-pei that acts much younger than her age. She would love an active household that includes her in activities. Sasha is very smart and takes direction/correction well. She has been fostering as an only dog, but can be good with other dogs after appropriate slow introductions and does best with dogs that are neutral or not reactive. She has been on overnights to a friends' home with small dogs, but has had less exposure to larger dogs. This girl loves to please! She loves toys, walks on a leash/harness (but could use some more practice), knows "sit", "stay", "heel" and "come", and is potty trained. She is not used to being crated at her current foster home. She may briefly barky at strangers, but warms up quickly, particularly in her foster home. Strange dogs get an equally barky reception, but with guidance and time, we believe she's totally up for a four-legged bff, but would be just as happy or happier (?) as an only dog, getting all of your attention and love! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Sasha loves attention and hanging out in the yard. (She would really like a yard.) She will chase the occasional squirrel and loves to bird watch. She has a lot of energy and would love regular walks and fun. But she can be a snuggly couch companion, giving eskimo kisses, too! This girl is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. She would do best in a home without small toddlers, but has been on sleepovers with kids aged 7+ without issue. Did we mention she is also drop dead gorgeous??? Sasha is fostering in Northern California (Napa area).August 19, 2024, 7:17 pm

Story
Stubs is a fun-loving, happy, active, neutered male shar-pei. He has been neutered, has had entropion eyelid surgery and is looking for an active owner or family to go on adventures with! But don't worry, Stubs can amuse himself for hours with toys! He would love to play soccer or fetch, and would be a great running or hiking companion. As a bonus, he tested well with other dogs (or course wanting to play)! He was overlooked at a northern California shelter for too long and is now with Pei People! Stubs is about 57 pounds and up for any adventure. He would do best in a home with a yard or someone that exercises him regularly. Note that some of his photos show a long tail. His tail was amputated at the shelter after suffering from happy tail (he was so happy and wagging it would not heal from a wound). His tail is now a few inches long (think boxer length). Hence his name, Stubs! Stubs is fostering in the Portland, OR area.August 19, 2024, 7:17 pm

Story
Marlee is a fun name for a fun gal! I was living my life and having some fun, except no one got me "fixed" so the fun ended up with me being a single mother with 6 hungry mouths to feed!!! Who thinks that their fun will lead to months of feeding and my milk producers dragging on the ground :( I sure didn't... However, I LOVE MY BABIES!!! Now that they are on their own in foster homes, that is :) I am a fun gal, I love to play with my friends and I am great with other playful and fun dogs. I am a climber and a jumper so it may be why I was out playing in the first place.... but I digress... I am happy and sweet and I have the gorgeous soft, PLENTIFUL muzzle of a Shar Pei, with the energy of a lab or shepherd or who knows what other breed I am. I want a real family who will love me for all that I am, and I am A LOT!! Look me up and let's run off into the sunset :) ADOPT... DON'T SHOP!!! MY LIFE AND MY PUPPIES' LIVES' DEPEND ON IT!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

So you know about my "kissable" mug, right?? Shar peis have the big "fluffy" cheeks and soft sweet nose, not to mention the eyes that stare into your SOUL!! Yes, that is ME!!! Now I am a Shar Pei mixed girl, but it's as obvious when you meet me, as the nose on YOUR face :) I am Annabelle and I was dumped with my 9 puppies when they were teeny and I was starving :( LUCKILY, we were dumped by one of our AMAZING public servants (Fire Chief) and his wife, they knew they couldn't just leave us to die... SO THEY SAVED US!!! And let me tell you, we are A LOT of love, kissing and WRINKLES! My pups are all being adopted and I am ready for MY furever home too!! I am so sweet and gentle, I love to play with my doggy friends and puppies but no kitties need apply!! Not a fan of the claws, lol. I am such a good girl that you won't miss not having a kitty anyway :) I am ready for a medium energy home, I love to lay around plenty but can get a little excitement for other things like hiking or neighborhood walking. Look me up and adopt me!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Sadie is an absolute lady with a love of squeaky stuffies, tennis balls, and people! This amazing girl stole all our hearts with her ease and smiling face, we hope she reaches yours too! Fall in love with Sadie here: https://youtu.be/tknJVMR6Esw?si=4zf-rX2UMJOlctjm In rescue age and breed are details about a dog we can never know with 100% confidence but we believe Sadie is a boxer/lab mix and possibly 5 years old, weighing 40 lbs. Her face gives off an older look than her physical health and energy level show. Those details don’t speak to who Sadie is at her core though, this is a dog that only sees the goodness and reflects it right back. Everyone who met her commented that she “made my day” or “her happiness is contagious!” It was hard not be overwhelmed with a smile for seemingly no reason at all, no silly tricks or attention getters, just her company. She is something really special in this world and we can't even imagine how much more she will shine once she finds her forever family. Sadie’s easy-going nature can be seen in all her interactions- with other dogs she was friendly and content in their company, and with our house cat she was perfectly respectful. An ideal home for Sadie is one where napping is encouraged and dog-toys will be purchased. For a canine companion, Sadie would love an easy-going partner-in-chill and cats are welcome! Thanks to her calm and quiet nature, and size, Sadie would be a great fit for the apartment life or a house with a yard. All we think she absolutely needs is a family of her own and a home where she is loved! Sadie is great with kids, in her video she plays with a 6 year old. She’s gentle, patient and not easily overwhelmed by the sudden movements and loud noises that young children make. Sadie is also great with cats, not overly interested and happy to coexist. She’s a champion on leash, with enough stamina and interest to accompany you on long walks, but loves the indoor lifestyle enough to spend hours and hours snuggling on the couch. Sadie is a wonder-dog, and so thoroughly loved here at the rescue- we can’t wait to see her showered in the love of her forever family. Sadie does have a mild case of dry eye in one of her eyes, which is eased with daily drops, and six-month supply is included in her adoption. Learn more about Sadie’s eyes in her video. Sadie is available for adoption now! The sooner you get her home the sooner the love can start flowing! The best days of Sadie’s life are ahead of her and she can’t wait to spend them with you! If you have any questions about Sadie or would like us to test her for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure she is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
Meet Caesar! This gentle 4-year-old and 72-pound boxer boy is ready to steal your heart with his sweet demeanor and mellow energy. My favorite thing about Caesar is the kisses he gives you and he will give lots of them. When first meeting if you crouch down low and baby talk him he will literally melt into a gushy lover boy and start wagging his tail. His face becomes the most expressive and his head tilts when you talk to him like he’s having the conversation with you. The boy is a gentle boy that is cautious to not knock you over but he does love to stand up and give you BIG hugs. If you stop giving him love he will affectionately paw your hand to say, Hey, I still want more!” This week Caesar’s foster took him to the Houston dog show where he met many new dogs and kids with the best manners! Caesar is a whiz when it comes to meeting new dogs, no matter their size or gender. Caesar is a medium-energy boy who knows how to read other dogs' cues to play or be left alone. Caesar transitions smoothly into new homes and quickly adapts to routines and rules. He respects corrections from other dogs and coexists peacefully with them, showing his adaptable nature. Caesar has made tremendous progress with crate training. He willingly enters his crate on command and has learned to communicate his needs effectively. Caesar is vocal only when he needs to go potty and politely requests to be let out of his crate. Caesar thrives in a calm environment and enjoys exploring his surroundings before settling down for a nap. He's content spending time in his crate or freely roaming the apartment, showing excellent behavior in both settings. This sweet boy sleeps through the night in his crate without any issues. While Caesar can be timid around loud noises and cars, he's been improving with consistent encouragement and support. He benefits from a confident handler who can guide him through these challenges. On walks, he may startle at sudden noises or movements but responds well to verbal corrections. He works every day building up his confidence. We think his best home would be in a suburban neighborhood or in a rural setting. This boy is likely not going to be a downtown high rise city boy! This smooshy-faced sweetheart gets along famously with dogs of all sizes and loves being part of doggie play groups. He's friendly, submissive, and adores human attention. Caesar is looking for a loving home where he can continue to build his confidence and enjoy the companionship of a caring family. Could Caesar be the loyal and loving companion you've been searching for? He will be ready to smother you in kisses! Story
Meet Coba, the charming and oh-so-cuddly 72 pound four-year old Boxer with a personality as adorable as his short legs and charming wrinkles! Coba is the definition of laid-back – he’s mellow, calm, and always ready for a snuggle session or a good booty scratch (which he absolutely loves!). Watch Coba here: https://youtu.be/uL8542t2T8Y When he's not basking in the glory of belly rubs, Coba enjoys exploring his surroundings, confidently strutting around with his head held high. He has a bit of an independent streak, but that just adds to his cool, confident demeanor. But don’t let his calm nature fool you. He loves his humans the most and ultimately wants a family or partner that will include him in their every day life. Coba could live in an apartment, condo or home with a yard. He is a quiet boy and we could even see him living in a busy city. Coba meets everyone with his dreamy big eyes andgoofy grin. Coba is best matched with a secure, more dominant female who can appreciate his confidant, independent nature. He has been great with older kids that were calmer. He has aced his leash skills making him enjoyable to take on walk and is quiet in a crate. Coba also gets along with small dogs, proving that his gentle and easy-going nature makes him a great buddy for pups of all sizes! But no cats for Coba, they are just too interesting for him. If you're looking for a lovable companion with a heart as big as his personality, Coba is your guy! His little wrinkles, playful spirit, and love for a good scratch will make every day brighter. Come meet Coba and let him show you just how wonderful life can be with a Boxer by your side! Available for adoption to anywhere in the US. We transport near or into NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed vehicle, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and onboard attendant(s) providing 24 hour care. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. We can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $750 and includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, we inject or give 2-6 months of heartworm preventative, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 25% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
