Story
Could Garth be any more adorable? We just love his pudgy jowls and wiggle pitty bum! At 3 years old, Garth has typcial adolescent energy where he likes to play and maybe do some zoomies in the yard. This handsome boy walks pretty well on leash with an occasional correction when he pulls. Check out all the cool tricks he has learned in just a short period of time! He is so eager to please you! His gorgeous blue/grey coat garners attention wherever he goes but it's his loving personality that really steals hearts! A little bit about Garths history that is known. He was in a Harris County shelter outside of Houston for several months. Garth was a "long stay" and placed on the euthanasia list. He got an extension- 2 days. Several people scrambled and were able to pull Garth from imminent death. He then went to a boarding facility for 3 weeks while transport from Texas to Colorado could be arranged. Garth has been with his foster Mom and Dad for a week and has already made great strides! He currently lives with 2 large dogs- one is a 3 year old Pittie named Remy who is basically "The King of the House". Garth and Remy play well together as Remy tries to teach Garth boundaries when playing. When Garth first arrived he had issues with jumping up on his Foster Mom/Dad. He has only sporadic episodes with jumping after some diligent training. Garth is extremely food/treat driven. He has learned sit/stay and lay down... all in only a week!!! Garth sleeps in a cordoned off kitchen area through the night. His fosters didnt have the heart to put him in a crate for bedtime after all he's been through (although he is crate trained). Garth is strong and very engaging as he has a ton of energy. On leash walks he seems prey driven with interest in bunnies/squirrels and prairie dogs so no adopters with cats. Probably only kids of teenage years or older as well. Ideal adopter would be someone with experience with strong Pitties and willing to put in the time and effort to be consistent with training Garth. He is strong willed and really smart. Garth would do best as an only dog or with a resident dog equally energetic and comparable with his 60 pound frame. Hes a loving and greatful dog looking for a stable home with lots of attention!!! A fenced in yard with active outdoor adopters would be a plus!!! If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2121526##

Story
Keke is certainly a beauty with her striking blue/gray coloring and sweet eyes but she is also a clown and more silly than serious. This amiable girl has been an absolute delight to her foster family. Keke lives with other dogs and gets along great with them. To say Keke desires to be a lap dog is an understatement. This girl LOVES to snuggle up on the sofa and if she sees an open lap she thinks it is her job to fill the void. Her energy feels grounding and and comforting and she enjoys lounging and napping a good portion of the day. She isn't a barker and doesn't require constant entertaining or supervision. She has great house manners and does not get into mischief at her foster mom's home. While Keke is on the larger size at 72 lbs, she moves deftly, almost delicately and is not clumsy in the least. She exudes both beauty and grace! This good girl is house trained, enjoys leash walks and adores car rides, making her an ideal companion for adventures both near and far.  Very sweet and devoted companion who is seeking a family of her own to shower with love. Keke is mostly a blue Pit Bull but likely has some other breeds sprinkled in there. The vet indicated Keke is around 2 years and weighs 72 lbs.  Keke is a courtesy post. If you are interested we will send your application to her owner. If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2038690##

Story
Bohdi's story is one of love and the remarkable spirit of rescue dogs!! He was dumped at a gas station where he found a way to survive on his own for over 8 months.  Bohdi affectionately earned his name as a combination of Beau because he is such a sweetheart and Diesel because he was living at the diesel pump. This handsome canine was abandoned at a gas station by his people where he relied on the kindness of the clerks and customers to feed him. At night he took shelter behind the dumpster or in a dirt cave. His days were occupied with searching for food to stay alive. When we became aware of his situation we knew we had to do something. We weren't sure what to expect but when a volunteer went out to catch him, Bohdi was so ready rescued, he walked right into the crate and went home with her. No fuss, no growling, no fear. He understand we were there to help. His foster reports that Sheldon is a gentleman and very grateful house guest!  He is friendly and deferential to the other dogs in his home and is content in his crate when his foster is not home. He has bonded quickly and deeply with his foster mom and will do the same with his new forever family. Initially Bohdi would not leave his foster mom's side when she took him outside in the yard. He didn't want to even explore the yard without her. After a week or so Bohdi was comfortable exploring the yard on his own but he does not like to be outside for long. He has had enough of outdoor living. The vet estimated Bohdi to be 3 years old and he weighs 65 lbs. we took Bohdi to the vet we learned he is heart worm positive. His treatment will be covered by the rescuce  Please read about heart worm and its treatment:  https://www.heartwormsociety.org/pet-owner-resources/heartworm-basics. His heartworm treatment involves 2 appointments in August. ##2126846##
