Story
Meet Adira, or "Addie" as her foster family lovingly calls her! 🐾 This sweet girl was found in rough shape, running scared in Memphis, but thanks to a kind MPD officer, she was brought to safety. Initially emaciated and frightened, Addie has blossomed in her foster home, gaining weight and confidence. Now, at 65 pounds and around 2-3 years old, she’s ready for her forever family. Addie is a playful spirit who loves chasing balls, hiking through the woods, car rides, and, most importantly, being close to her humans. While she’s high-energy, she’s also the perfect work-from-home companion, content to curl up beside you during the day. 🛋️ Addie is kennel trained, but she prefers having room to roam and a lot of love to give—she’s a true one-human dog, and would thrive as the only pet in a home with an active lifestyle. Her loyalty is unmatched, and she’ll quickly become your protector and best friend. 💕 Is Addie the loyal companion you’ve been looking for? 🌟 *** We have a transport flight to Denver on February 7th, and it will be bringing our newly adopted pups to their forever homes!*** Once adopted she will travel via private transport Rescue Vet (transport cost is $160.00) to a location closest to you. If you would like to make this wonderful girl part of your family please get your application in asap!!!

Story
Meet DIXIE! 🐾 This adorable girl is just the perfect package!! Dixie found herself, through no fault of her own, in a rural shelter that keep most of their pups outside under tarps and with hay in the winter. One look at that face and we scooped her right up. We were shocked to find out how sweet, loving and gentle this adorable doll was. This amazing girl just loves life and hanging out with her people and dog buddies. She is the first to welcome you home and last to leave your side. She has the perfect energy one is looking for in a dog. Dixie is approximately 5 months and practically out of all those time consuming puppy stages. 💖 Personality: Goofy, playful and energetic. Dixie has a wonderful temperament and gets along great with her foster mates. She is super smart and a fast learner. She will be up for learning any new tricks you might want to throw her way. She is fostering in a home in Memphis, TN and her foster mom would love to tell you all about her. Dixie is going to be great family companion and she is ready to be your new best friend! If you’re ready to give DIXIE a lifetime of belly rubs, treats, and a cozy bed, please reach out! Let’s find this sweet pup the forever home she soooo deserves. 🐶💕 *** We have a transport flight to Denver on February 7th, and it will be bringing our newly adopted pups to their forever homes! *** Once adopted she will travel via the Rescue Transport to her new family. They travel each and every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this cutie part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
Torchy is a courtesy posting and not an Animal Rescue of the Rockies dog. But his foster asks that all interested individuals fill out our adoption application.   Five-year-old Torchy has touched his fosters’ hearts with his sweet and silly ways. Once the 45-pound white beauty felt comfortable in their company, he opened his own heart, and now he LOVES licking them, cuddling and snuggling, and playing with them. He also loves engaging, often too exuberantly, with other dogs. Torchy LOVES going for walks - they're the absolute highlight of his day! He enjoys chewing on Nylabones and playing with soft, plushy toys, but what he loves most is his wobble Kong, giddily getting into boxing matches with it! Known to prance around the house and strut when he walks, he’s equally famous for lying on his back with his legs in the air, as an open invitation for belly rubs, paw-lease. Motivated by love, toys and food (he’s passionate about people food), highly intelligent and easy to teach, he knows “come”, “sit”, “down”, “stay”, “off”, “no”, “touch” and “leave it”, accepts his favorite Charlie Bear biscuit treats gently and loves relaxing inside his crate with the door open. He's leash- and house-trained. Torchy has graduated from a 4-week board and training obedience program through American Canine Academy. They offer free lifetime training support to adopters. For Torchy to thrive, he requires a strong but loving “pack leader” to continue his training, and keep him mentally and physically satisfied fur-ever.December 22, 2024, 11:36 am
