Story
Leo is a 4 yr old terrier mix.  He weighs 88 lbs and is full of love and kisses.  He was  returned to us from being adopted as a puppy.  After living with a cat for 9 months, he decided he no longer liked the cat and has become dog selective.  Leo is  smart and listens very well.  He is house trained and doesn't need a crate.  Does good riding in the car.  Leo needs to get all the love and prefers home with no other animals.  Older kids would also be best as he doesn't know how big he really is.  Leo is slow to warm up, but with a little patience , he's all yours.  An experienced dog owner is required.  Please give this big guy a chance. He's a good boy just waiting for his forever home. If you are viewing this pet's profile on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet,.please use the application link at the bottom of the profile to apply. Story
If you’re looking for a companion Pearl is your girl! Pearl is a sweetheart. She’s smart, caring, and a beautiful dog with a social personality- She’s quick to become your little shadow.  At 2 years old, Pearl is very adaptable, eager to learn and please. She is an extremely affectionate girl who loves giving kisses and hugs. Pearl enjoys going on long walks and playing fetch so she will need to be housed in an active home, preferably with a yard, as one of her other favorite things is laying in the sun with her ball. When you’re ready to relax she is apt to cuddle up with you and will sleep for hours on end. Pearl perfectly house trained and will clearly let you know when it’s time.  Pearl does require a one dog home. Story
Jo came to us from another shelter. It is always sad when an older dog comes to us, because they have to adjust to living in a kennel situation and it is terribly confusing for them. Even though she is older she has a lot of energy, and is extremely strong. We have found she walks much better on a gentle leader than a traditional leash. She needs someone with German Shepherd breed experience and allow her time to open up to you and show you her sweet nature. She is new to us, so there are things still unknown as far as her likes and dislikes, she has not been around children yet and would do best in a home without other dogs. She is currently healing from a skin infection, so her haircut is a bit different, but will grow back and she will be even more beautiful than before.
