He can also be selective when it comes to choosing dog friends. His lovable, playful nature will capture the hearts of any humans he comes across. He can be quite vocal when he`s left alone and may be quite bothersome in an apartment setting. Could you provide him with the perfect home?Benji is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on Benji or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. She adores her people and does enjoy some dogs, but can be a bit picky and choosey about which dogs are allowed to enter her coveted social circle. Being a chihuahua mix, she can be quite vocal! This means she may not be the best fit for an apartment as she will let the building know whenever she`s alone. Ellen is a small breed dog looking for a home to call her own. They are one of the dogs from the large surrender we took recently and although they are doing well in a foster home, we are still getting to know them. Due to their abnormal history, the dogs from this home are a mix of nervous and outgoing, but all of them are going to need a patient adopter who can help them get comfortable around new people and situations. Dogs from this surrender will need families committed to helping them settle in at their own pace and learn normal dog behaviors. ***This dog is currently in a foster home and we are working to finish up ther medical care for adoption. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please come to the Cape shelter during open hours to speak with a staff member. If a match is found, we will schedule a time for Ellen to return to the shelter from her foster home*** Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog thats a good match!
