First he's sour, then he's sweet. Much like a sour patch kid, Oscar is the definition of a rascal. The 13-pound, 7-year-old pup was surrendered to Pets Alive because he has one issue: He's a biter! While someone attempted to adopt Oscar recently, he just wasn't having it. So alas, this boy is back at the shelter, and we're working on training to determine his triggers. Given his selective attitude, Oscar is best suited for a dog-savvy home without children.

Meet Babbel.. What a Great little pup... Babbel was pulled from a back yard breeder in Wisconsin. We heard the owner owns the mom which is a Shihtzu / Chihuahua and they allowed the neighbors dog which is a Rat Terrier / Chihuahua to breed with her. Once the puppies were old enough, the family thought they could sell the pups. Who knows if they did in fact sell 1 or 2. We were contacted to take the remaining pups from this litter. We did offer to spay the mom so this doesn't happen again and unfortunately they did not take us up on the offer. Babbel is a 14 week old male Shihtzu / Rat Terrier / Chihuahua. Babbel is considered low shedding due to the Shihtzu. Some people with allergies may be ok with this mix, while others are not. We estimate his full growth weight to be under 10 pounds. He is very tiny. We will not be placing him in a home with young kids or large dogs in the home. Babbel is very friendly, social and playful. He is having a blast in his foster home playing with toys and the other pups. Babbel will be very popular and adopted quickly. He is using a wee wee pad, and the outdoors for potty training. Meet Cali..... What a Gorgeous Hypoallergenic girl.... Cali and some siblings were pulled from a Wisconsin puppy mill. Cali and her siblings were not chosen for a pet store.. We can't believe this litter of all females were not sold to a pet store or privately. We did hear, that this mill had alot of the same breed of pups born at the same time. The smaller pups were sold to pet stores and this group was available to pull. Cali is a 14 week old female Shihtzu / Bichon Frise. This is a fully hypoallergenic pup. Anyone with allergies will be fine with this mix. We estimate her full growth weight to be around 12 - 15 pounds, she will always have short legs, so this is a great plane travel pup. Cali will be very popular, especially with her coloring and hypoallergenic fur. She is a gorgeous Grey and White color. Cali is extremely friendly and social. She gets along great with the other pups and adult dogs in the home. Cali will complete any family. Let's get this beauty adopted.
