Story
My name is Sugar and I'm looking for a lifelong bff to be the spice in your life. Im a 3 yrs young pure bred Silky Terrier. I've heard I look like a Yorkie. Pfft! They wish... just at these fancy ears. Vidal Sassoon himself would have been in awe. Speaking of my hair/ fur.. I'm what they call very low to no shed meaning I won't shed all over your ~ahem.. our pad and you and our guests won't have to play Benadryl shot games. I have my own opinions and a bit of a spicy side, but once you've won me over I'll be your ride or die. Speaking of rides...I love car rides too..all I want is to be loved ,cherished ,belly rubbed, and hanging out the passenger side of my best friends ride... Toys and squeaky balls are favorites along with treats and naps. Hurry up and get your application in. Our adventures await! Note from foster mum: Sugar is a wonderful 17 lb Silky terrier that can be a little spicy with new people at first, but warms up quickly in a calm home. She may not be well suited for a home with small children as she can be fearful and snippy if uncertain. She's done very well with other dogs given the rt introduction and supervision since she is small and can be fearful at first. Sugar walks well on a leash. She is currently learning kennel training, but prefers to sleep in the bed with you. She is potty pad trained and will go outside as well, but is still firming up her skills. Sugar rides in the car perfectly. She can be a chewer with prized doggie chew things like remotes and reading glasses. Those need to just be set up higher than her little legs can reach and redirect her with her toys. Her adopt fee is 500 local to the San Antonio area and 700 out of state.

These pups are in Everett, Washington too!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Trouble! Trouble is a delightful male Lhasa mix born around April 1, 2016, who was found in Spring Branch. Despite having a microchip, his previous owner chose not to reclaim him, which has truly been their loss. Trouble is an incredibly friendly senior dog who gets along with everyone and loves to play. Though he has an old injury to his eye, it doesn’t dampen his spirit. Trouble is very lovable and enjoys offering his belly for rubs, making him a favorite among the rescue team. His name might suggest otherwise, but Trouble is nothing but a joy and a testament to the saying that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Weighing 19.2 pounds, Trouble is potty trained and walks well on a leash. He is fully vetted and has received a ProHeart 6 vaccine, offering heartworm prevention until February 22, 2025. His adoption fee is $300. If you’re looking for a sweet and loving companion who’s ready to bring joy into your life, Trouble is your perfect match. Apply to adopt him today at www.adoggie4you.org and give Trouble the loving home he deserves. Welcome Trouble into your life and enjoy his affectionate and playful nature! This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Tyler. I came to the ranch from the valley, where I was scheduled for euthanasia in 2013. My first parents had a young child that hit me with sticks, kicked me and hurt me. One day I decided to fight back, and I bit the child, so I ended up in the slammer. I was barely a year old, so my foster mom decided to give me a chance. My foster mom loved me. She let me sleep with her, she treated me good and let me play with toys and go for walks with her. It took me about a week to trust her, but I loved her lots.  Unfortunately I had to come back to the kennels when she couldn’t foster anymore.  My kennel mates are good friends.  We play and love each other.  But I really would like to have a real family before I go to the rainbow bridge.  I have been at the rescue since 2011, they love me, but it’s not the same.  I know it’s partly my fault.  I used to bite new people.  Hey, but the good news is I only have 4 teeth, so I can only gum you.  I have been living with Pat since I lost my teethys.  She says I am too old to be in the kennels.  For the most part this is great, but I have to share her with lots of other babies.  Mommy says she is going to find me a special forever home that will be patient and give me the time I need to get to know you. Are you the special family mommy told me about?  I have been waiting for 11 years to find my special family, but mom tells me not to worry.  Someday I will get my wish.   To adopt this dog, please fill out an application at www.adoggie4you.org.  He was born around 2/5/2013 and weighs 21 pounds.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 6:46 pm
