Hudson is a sweet, cuddly, energetic and playful lap cat. He's a snowshoe mix that will be your buddy no matter what. He's affectionate, so if you're looking for a cuddly cat he's the one for you. After a year of trying and learning, my current cat seems to be too aggressive towards to him despite his many efforts to be her friend. I'd say he'd thrive in a home where someone is willing to give him lots of toys and play time as well, or has another playful cat that would be his friend!

FOSTER or ADOPT: Steph is a very sweet, and extremely cute, Snowshoe Siamese boy in urgent need of a good home. He was a stray that found his way to the apartment of a kind, cat-loving woman. Sadly, she was very sick and subsequently left her apartment, leaving nine cats behind, most of whom are only about 12-18 months old. It’s very possible that Steph is the daddy of them all, as he has not yet been neutered! Clearly, Steph has had a tough life. Consequently, he has learned to protect himself from danger, real and imagined. Because of this, Steph needs someone who can love his cuddly side, help him get over his tendency to nip when he becomes over-stimulated, and to be patient as he transitions back into the very, very sweet boy he is deep down inside! Trust with all cats is paramount, and that is especially true of a cat like Steph who has led a hard life on the streets. If you are patient, not afraid, and want to watch this young boy morph into his truly precious, adorable, and loving self over time, Steph could really use a loving soul to help him. Steph was born in approximately June 2021. He will be neutered and up to date on his vaccinations prior to adoption. He would do best in a calm, quiet, adult-only household. She was a bit shy and reserved at first when she arrived into her foster home, but has now flourished and turned into a lovely sweet kitten. She is a good little girl, both docile and calm, who loves to gently play, yet turns into a purring little bundle of joy when she is picked up and cuddled. She loves wiggly worm fishing pole toys and anything she can bunny kick. She is happy enough to be a sidekick to her person rather than run around and tear up the house, and would probably do best in a quieter household, ideally without small kids. Her brother Carter is a bit too boisterous with her and drives her nuts. However, although Ella could be happy as a solo kitty, she could just as easily be at home with another gentle and chill resident cat in the household, given a slow introduction of course. She is still working on building her confidence and will likely take her several weeks or months to actually trust people and become the loving kitten that her sibling is quickly becoming. He’s just turned 6 years old, but continues to be as active as he was when he was a kitten. He’s used to being an indoor cat, though he’s had access to and enjoys my outdoor balcony. He’s enjoyed the few times I’ve “walked” him in a natural setting. He enjoys being played with, meowing at the birds at the back of my building, and engaging the occasional zoomies rush. He learns quickly, and he’s trained not to get up on any counter or table. He can be left alone for several hours. He purrs at the drop of a hat.

Ollivander and Pippin an adorable pair of bonded boys. These distinguished gentlemen are waiting patiently for their new home – is it with you? While they’re initially on the reserved side with new people, once you’ve befriended them, their sweet nature just shines through. Despite being older cats, both Ollivander and Pippin are a playful duo. Ollivander, aka Ollie, prefers playing with toy mice and balls he can chase and is happy to entertain himself. Pippin also likes chasing after mice, but he also really enjoys leaping high in the air to bat at ribbon toys. He’ll keep you entertained with his acrobatics! Both boys seem to be night owls and like to go on late-night escapades where they eat and play after hours. Ollie has a nightly routine where he patrols the house and checks out every room to keep an eye on what’s going on. As a bonded pair, Ollie and Pippin have a deep connection with each other and are close. They like to sleep near each other under the covers of a blanket or bed, and often they’ll groom each other. Occasionally they’ll have a little spat that quickly resolves once they give one another space if needed. Ollie is the more outgoing of the pair and loves seeking out attention from his humans. He can still easily startle, so being in a calm home with a patient adopter will be ideal for him. He loves being pet and getting chin scritches! Pippin is also very sweet and friendly; it just takes a little more time and patience for him to get comfortable with people. He also tends to be very protective of Ollie and may get defensive if you pet Ollie while Pippin is right next to him. A great way to win Pippin’s trust is by offering treats. Both cats are very food motivated, which is convenient as Ollie takes a heart medication pill. It’s very easy to administer—he practically prefers his pill pocket treat more than his actual food! Ollivander and Pippin are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
