Story
Cabbage was on the schedule to  be euthanized after her owner had to surrender her and her litter of kittens. Thankfully, she and her babies found a foster home, and it was discovered that not only was she a wonderful momma to her littles but also a sweet cat to humans! She is an older cat- at least 3 years old, and she enjoys laying around the house and being petted. She does well with other cats once she gets to know them, but does not like dogs.   ##1841437##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Cat Support (Info@catsupport.net) for more information about this pet.Dakota & Cheyenne (Est.DOB: 3.16.24) are a bonded pair that must be adopted together. Dakota (snowshoe) is the more confident of the two and after some bonding time she will come right to you for pets and show you her purr that is as big as her heart! She has lots of energy and spends most of it chasing and playing with her sister. Cheyenne (Siamese mix) is the most timid of the two and is very shy. She is still working on building her confidence and will likely take her several weeks or months to actually trust people and become the loving kitten that her sibling is quickly becoming. She also loves playtime with her sister. These two need someone experienced with working with very shy kitties and giving them extra attention to build their confidence and trust. A calm household, preferably an adult only home, is best suited for these two. If you would like to meet this kitty please fill out an online adoption application by clicking here or going to our website at www.catsupport.net. This is the first step in scheduling a meet & greet. All of our cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for parasites. We hold adoption events every 1st & 3rd weekend at our Cat Adoption Center located inside of Petsmart at 5879 Lone Tree Way, Antioch/Brentwood border, CA. However, please follow our facebook page for possible schedule changes or special events.        www.facebook.com/catsupportnetwork/ You can also visit our resident kitties at this location anytime during regular store hours. Meet & Greets and adoptions take place for these kitties 12-4pm daily.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 17, 2024, 11:38 am

Story
FOSTER or ADOPT:  Steph is a very sweet, and extremely cute, Snowshoe Siamese boy in urgent need of a good home. He was a stray that found his way to the apartment of a kind, cat-loving woman. Sadly, she was very sick and subsequently left her apartment, leaving nine cats behind, most of whom are only about 12-18 months old. It’s very possible that Steph is the daddy of them all, as he has not yet been neutered! Clearly, Steph has had a tough life. Consequently, he has learned to protect himself from danger, real and imagined. Because of this, Steph needs someone who can love his cuddly side, help him get over his tendency to nip when he becomes over-stimulated, and to be patient as he transitions back into the very, very sweet boy he is deep down inside! Trust with all cats is paramount, and that is especially true of a cat like Steph who has led a hard life on the streets. If you are patient, not afraid, and want to watch this young boy morph into his truly precious, adorable, and loving self over time, Steph could really use a loving soul to help him. Steph was born in approximately June 2021.  He will be neutered and up to date on his vaccinations prior to adoption. He would do best in a calm, quiet, adult-only household. For more information, please text Deborah at 510-909-4961 (or leave a message), or send an email to angusnfriends@outlook.com. August 19, 2024, 2:08 am

Story
Lola and Lana are a pair of beautiful snowshoe kittens who are still discovering that the world isn’t such a scary place. Lola is the more trusting of the two. With her striking blue eyes, she’s starting to warm up and is slowly learning that humans can be kind. She’s curious but cautious, and she’s making progress every day. Lana is a little more reserved. This adorable girl is currently quite fearful and prefers to hide, but she can’t resist the sound of kibble hitting the floor—just like in a game of Hungry Hungry Hippos! You’ll catch glimpses of her when treats are involved, and with patience, she’ll learn that it’s safe to come out more often. Both cats are still working on the idea that humans are okay, and while they’re food motivated, they’re not yet comfortable with being touched. They need a patient adopter who can provide a quiet and understanding home where they can blossom at their own pace. With time and love, Lola and Lana will reveal their sweet, gentle personalities and become wonderful companions. Are you the special person who can help these shy sisters come out of their shells? Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet. This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptAugust 19, 2024, 2:32 am

Story
Please contact Angela (takeakittenhome@gmail.com), (510) 909-6737 for more information about this pet. Ella came into rescue from a feral colony.  She was a bit shy and reserved at first when she arrived into her foster home, but has now flourished and turned into a lovely sweet kitten. She is a good little girl, both docile and calm, who loves to gently play, yet turns into a purring little bundle of joy when she is picked up and cuddled.  She loves wiggly worm fishing pole toys and anything she can bunny kick. She is happy enough to be a sidekick to her person rather than run around and tear up the house, and would probably do best in a quieter household, ideally without small kids. Her brother Carter is a bit too boisterous with her and drives her nuts. However, although Ella could be happy as a solo kitty, she could just as easily be at home with another gentle and chill resident cat in the household, given a slow introduction of course.  Please contact Angela at 510-909-6737 or takeakittenhome@gmail.comAugust 19, 2024, 9:49 pm
