Story
We do NOT WANT to give our dog up….we are forced to move to a different home and we are experiencing an absolute NO to the dog every single house we look for. We also work 14 hour days 6 days a week. We just want her to be loved and taken care of. We are horrible for doing this but we feel like its the kids or the dogs. What are we supposed to do. We love her. She is great with kids and she does NOT like going out and doing stuff…she wants to stay home and love and lick someone. She a great protector too.

Story
FOSTER NEEDED FRIDAY 3/28 Animal Profile: Sea Otters are described as intelligent, goofy, curious, gregarious and they are undeniably on the shortlist of most adorable animals. This land Otter is the same, for all of the above! Otter is an estimated 3-year-old, 50 lb Staffordshire Terrier who originally came into the overcrowded Stockton, California animal shelter as a stray in October.  Upon first arriving in Seattle, he was lacking manners and unable to understand boundaries. With the help from his foster mom and local trainer Gina Cooley of Double Down Dog Training, he's made amazing progress! Otter comes with a 5 week Board and Train under his belt so he is very well trained - he is house and crate trained, is a perfect gentleman on leash and is friendly with both dogs and people. He is fairly independent when it comes to other dogs, and does not have a strong interest in playing. He loves long leisurely walks, squeaky toys and a soft place to nap - in that order. He is also very food motivated! True to the bully breed, he can be pushy in play with toys and will need an owner with experience to help him manage. Otter has been friendly with kids, but he is looking for a home without them due to his behavior prior to training. He also needs a family committed to upholding his training so he can continue to be a squishy faced gentleman! Apply today to learn more about his handsome mug! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current on DPPV & Bordetella. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued from the euthanasia list at a high-kill shelter in Stockton, California and being transported via START, arriving to Seattle area foster care 1/18/2024. He was adopted in 12/2024 and returned 3/2025 due to no fault of his own. He is available for adoption in the greater Seattle area.     March 26, 2025, 2:34 pm

While he can't hear, he's mastered the art of being a joyful canine companion. Max exudes energy and affection, enjoying walks and playtime, especially his favorite pastime: fetch. Despite his disability, he embraces life with enthusiasm, embodying resilience and love. Max thrives on human interaction, craving a caring companion to share adventures with. He's an adventurous spirit who adores riding in cars and exploring new places. Yet, Max is also a devoted cuddler, content to keep you company on the couch, his gentle nature shining through in every snuggle session. His harmonious interactions extend to both humans and fellow furry friends, often seen frolicking with playful puppies. Max is a testament to the indomitable spirit of rescue dogs, proving that love knows no bounds, and every pup deserves a chance to find their forever home. We do recommend a home without young children due to his special needs. Max has not been cat tested, but we know he loves dogs! He is microchipped, fully vaccinated, & neutered. He is being fostered in Seguin, TX and is ready for his new home. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Meet Buddy, the charismatic rescue pitbull who has captured the hearts of everyone he meets. This fun-loving canine companion is a true embodiment of joy, with a passion for cuddles, kisses, and hugs that is simply infectious. Despite a previous setback due to ACL surgery, Buddy's enthusiasm for life remains undiminished, although he now enjoys the great outdoors at a slightly gentler pace. Buddy is not just a pet; he's a family member. He's kennel trained, making him not only adorable but also well-behaved. While he is incredibly friendly with other dogs, a meet-and-greet is recommended to ensure a smooth introduction. Unfortunately, Buddy isn't a fan of feline friends, so a cat-free environment would be ideal. In addition to his social prowess, Buddy is house trained, making him the perfect companion for any home. His playful spirit shines through when he's engaged in a game of fetch or with a rope toy - his tail wagging with unmatched enthusiasm. But perhaps Buddy's favorite pastime is basking in the sun, a simple pleasure that brings him immense contentment. With his resilience, affectionate nature, and zest for life, Buddy is more than a pet; he's a source of endless love and happiness, waiting to bring sunshine into the lives of his forever family.
