Story

Gigi was rescued from a crowded shelter. She was dumped in the streets neglected dirty had ear infections long toe nails and skin rash (from poor diet or allergy to dirt/fleas). The shelter bathed her. Gigi was nervous and timid at the shelter but slowly warming up. Gentle and can be petted and handled by shelter staff and vet. Enjoyed being carried. She was timid when she met a larger dog on walk but was fine hanging out. The shelter gave her a medicated bath and treated her ear infections which are now cleared. Now she will get healthy foods twice weekly medicated baths home training walks and extra TLC at her foster home. She will thrive and get healthy. Next will be grooming when she is comfortable and has the week to decompress. She got her vet care 5/25 morning and now relaxing at her great foster home. 3 vets aged her from 6 mos to 1 year. So we put 10 mos for her age. More info. and new photos to come from her foster home. 6/8/24 Update: With healthy foods weekly medicated bath and Earth Bath tea tree spray her under belly rash is gone. She is now healthy. She was just spayed. Foster home groomed her and she looks super adorable. Gigi would love an active doggie playmate at home. More and more she desperately wants to play and roughhouse with foster home's dog now that’s she’s settled in but Lexi is just not a playful dog. Ideally her forever home would have an attached backyard and another young dog to play with. She loves following her foster parents around snuggling long walks and playing/lounging in their yard. Story

Tofu was rescued from a crowded distant shelter where he was a stray since 6/15/24 and he ran out of time. He was neglected severely matted and dirty when found in the streets. He was timid at the shelter but warmed up. He was shaved down and feels much better now. Foster home gave him a double bath and he is now fresh and clean. Tofu was great with his transporter. He was so happy to leave the shelter. Tofu is doing great at his foster home with their two dogs (pack dog) loves his home-made food/treats very sweet friendly playful and precious. He is adorable and very happy. More info and photos to come as he relaxes learns and get healthy at his foster home. Update from foster home: Tofu is doing well healthy looking now eating and playing. Tofu is super intelligent he knows sit lay down and stand on hind legs to do a circle dance for treats he is potty trained sleeps in crate walk great on leash rides great in car and plays well with my dogs. Tofu likes to lay close to his human and dogs he can be a lap dog as well. When put in a vulnerable position Tofu can be stubborn growl shows teeth snap with people he doesn't trust. I believe in time this characteristic will slowly go away with trust I believe Tofu can benefit with a family with other dogs to build his trust. Tofu is an alpha dog. Jasmine and Daisy were neglected very dirty and severely matted when we rescued them from a shelter. Both were nervous at the shelter but once out they warmed up and were very sweet. They were probably backyard dogs with no care nor training. Jasmine looks like she had puppies before. Both were groomed and shaved down. They both feel much better now and happy at their foster homes. Jasmine is great with other dogs friendly gentle and affectionate. More info. to come while they relax learn and get healthy at their foster homes So far Jasmine is happier with another small dog at home to hang out with but can be the only the dog at home. Daisy is a perfect foster dog. She is well behaved easy going friendly with her dog and with all dogs on walks. She is submissive to foster home's alpha dog. Good meeting new people. Daisy loves playing with other dogs and her toys. Very sweet eating well snuggly gives kisses and affectionate. Already seems house trained and follow their dog out to backyard for potty biz. What a difference in 2 days after after full professional grooming baths healthy foods and loving Foster Home. She will bring joy and love into her forever great home. 7/30/24: Annie was adopted from us Aug. 2020 but now needs a new home due to the couple having a baby and now toddler. Their toddler fell on Annie and she reacted with a nip. They also have another toddler moving in with them soon. So poor Annie now needs a new adult home. Older gentle kids ok. She is very easy calm and sweet. Fast movement loud noise and active kids stresses her out and makes her nervous. She needs quiet routine adult home. She did fine with our foster home's small dog. At her current home she has been the only dog. Need time to adjust to another dog. Original posting from 2020: Annie was rescued from a shelter. She is a sweetie once she warms up. At her foster home she is friendly and polite with their dogs (sr. dog & small dog). Annie loves running going out for potty biz and playing in their yard. Shelter told us she is about 5 yrs. With healthy and fresh food she will be healthier. More info. to come while she relaxes and learns at her foster home. Her spay is scheduled now. Story

Shadow is appx 4 yrs old, standard poodle! He weights about 40lbs. Sweet pup and likes to follow you around. He does well with other dogs of all sizes. Very food motivated. He does have a bit of separation anxiety, which I think will get better over time as he just arrived and everything is new for him.
