Shadow is appx 4 yrs old, standard poodle! He weights about 40lbs. Sweet pup and likes to follow you around. He does well with other dogs of all sizes. Very food motivated. He does have a bit of separation anxiety, which I think will get better over time as he just arrived and everything is new for him.

Norrin is appx 4 yrs old, white standard poodle. He's currently shaved down since he was very matted at the shelter. He weights about 40lbs. He's very food motivated, walks fine with leash, does fine with other dogs and people. He's pretty independent and not very attached to people like Shadow is. Crate trained. Da Bai is appx 3 to 4 yrs old standard poodle. He's very smart and is house trained/crate trained. He must have had owner before but not sure how he ended up in the overcrowded shelter in Chengdu. His coat is very much like apricot color with some white color. He can be independent but also loves to play and cuddle. Walks well on leash. Loves to eat, does well with other dogs and people.

Here's some notes from their foster: This sweet duo are just about the most well mannered dogs I've ever met. Kelso makes friends immediately. Donna likes to take her time but is equally loving. Kelso loves to cuddle. He will fall asleep lying next to me with his head on my chest. If he wants pets he gently puts his paw on my arm. They follow all commands quickly. They don't compete over food or treats. They love walks! They also seem very happy when we get home-several times when we have gotten home Kelso has tried to get my 8lbs. poodle to play-to no avail. They're good eaters and are perfectly house trained. They sleep through the night. They are a talkative bunch. They'll talk to you, talk to each other, talk to other dogs: they are not afraid to say what's on their minds! Thankfully, what is on their minds is usually enthusiasm and excitement for whatever is happening around them. That enthusiasm can turn into impolite greetings with dogs passing by on leash, so the two are working on remembering their manners and not coming on too strong. They're great in the car. Whenever I come home after being away for a few hours the house is quiet. They're either hanging out in the backyard or resting on the sofa or bed.

Story

Gigi was rescued from a crowded shelter. She was dumped in the streets neglected dirty had ear infections long toe nails and skin rash (from poor diet or allergy to dirt/fleas). The shelter bathed her. Gigi was nervous and timid at the shelter but slowly warming up. Gentle and can be petted and handled by shelter staff and vet. Enjoyed being carried. She was timid when she met a larger dog on walk but was fine hanging out. The shelter gave her a medicated bath and treated her ear infections which are now cleared. Now she will get healthy foods twice weekly medicated baths home training walks and extra TLC at her foster home. She will thrive and get healthy. Next will be grooming when she is comfortable and has the week to decompress. She got her vet care 5/25 morning and now relaxing at her great foster home. 3 vets aged her from 6 mos to 1 year. So we put 10 mos for her age. More info. and new photos to come from her foster home. 6/8/24 Update: With healthy foods weekly medicated bath and Earth Bath tea tree spray her under belly rash is gone. She is now healthy. She was just spayed. Foster home groomed her and she looks super adorable. Gigi would love an active doggie playmate at home. More and more she desperately wants to play and roughhouse with foster home's dog now that’s she’s settled in but Lexi is just not a playful dog. Ideally her forever home would have an attached backyard and another young dog to play with. She loves following her foster parents around snuggling long walks and playing/lounging in their yard.
