Story
Bronson is a stunning young pup with a one-of-a-kind brindle coat—he must have gotten those gorgeous markings from his dad! His mom was a mix of Standard Poodle and Airedale, giving him a slightly rough coat, soulful eyes, and a sharp mind to match his good looks. This smart boy was born around Oct.1, 2024 and  is already making great progress with crate and potty training, thanks to his foster mom’s dedication. He’s highly intelligent and eager to learn, especially when treats and toys are involved! Bronson has already mastered “sit” and is well on his way to being a well-mannered companion. Friendly and affectionate, Bronson gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and trainable pup, Bronson is ready to be your new best friend! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143. This boy is what is just going to be a sixty to seventy pound handsome adult. If you would like to adopt or know more about him, please conta Critter Cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 12, 2025, 9:47 pm

Story
Brandon is a handsome 5 month old bundle of love with a stunning brindle coat that he must have inherited from his dad! His mom was a unique mix of half Standard Poodle and half Airedale, so Brandon is destined to grow into a big, lovable boy that could weigh 60 pounds. With his lovingly sweet personality, Brandon is the total puppy package! His foster mom has been working hard on his crate training and potty training, and he’s already mastered “sit.” He’s great with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him a perfect fit for just about any type of family.  Brandon would love an active family that could provide him a fenced yard where Brandon can safely play. He would also embrace having  another canine companion in the family or active children or family members that will take him for good walks, jogs and a life filled with fun adventures. Brandon would be a great social butterfly out in the community and neighborhood. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate pup with a heart of gold (and a golden coat to match!), Brandon might just be your perfect match!   Please write to critter cavalry rescue, at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested!  Let us know where you live as well.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 13, 2025, 8:04 pm

Story
Golden doodle, Prince, is looking for his furever home. This handsome fellow is potty trained and getting better on a leash every day. Crates or small enclosures make him nervous, however, if given adequate exercise and stimulation Prince settles down very nicely. He enjoys chasing the ball while off-leash, squeaky toys, getting belly rubs, and anything food related. Prince would do best in a home with a big yard to romp in, someone around a good portion of the time, and lots of love and treats. The adoption fee for this dog is $650. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you are viewing on Petfinder and unable to view photos or would like to apply for this dog, please visit our website www.frecklesfoundation.org. Meet Peanut, the sweetest doodle boy who's ready to find his furever home! This big, leggy guy is all about making friends ~ whether it’s with hoomans or fellow pups, he wants to collect ALL the friends! Peanut loves his daily walks and playing fetch in the yard. He is eagerly awaiting the day his furever family walks through the doors to whisk him away to a place of marathon walks, but in the meantime he is having the time of his life. He’s met lots of new dogs, new people darn near everyday, AND his skin conditions are improving. He will need management for his skin throughout his life, as many pups with allergies do. He’s also been neutered and had a dental, so he’s all set for his new life. Peanut is great with dogs, cats, and loves to give paw. Baby gates are no match for his long legs, so he’ll need a home ready to embrace his playful, smart, and oh-so-sweet personality. Peanut is full of love and ready to bring his new family so much joy! Can you give this loveable boy a soft place to land? Peanut is approx 6 years old and 42 lbs. fostered in Hagerstown, MD please apply at mirishaven.org

I got Navy from a breeder both parents were on the premises. He is 2 years he will be 3 this coming May. He is very out going. Love love to play, so he will do well with children and many other dogs. He do attend dog daycare because it’s just him home he loves companionship. He do get along with cats I use to have two cats for three years and they got along well. Hey loves to play fetch all day long, like to take walks but he’s more of a inside dog. He is very friendly, I have been told from the dog daycare he helps other dogs come out of their comfort and their shell. I just want him to go to someone who will care for him and have his greatest interest. He is very easygoing. But a picky eater.

URGENT: Meet Ent, a 3-year-old Pooghan with a heart full of joy and an endless supply of love and playfulness! D ue to medical difficulties, Ent's current owner can no longer provide the care and environment that this sweet pup needs and deserves. We are urgently looking for a new home where Ent can thrive. Ent would do great in an environment with mental and physical stimulation. Daily exercise and engaging activities will keep his energetic spirit happy and healthy. He’s great with kids and other dogs. If you’re not familiar with Pooghans, they are a charming mix of Poodle and Afghan Hound, that are affection, loyal, smart, and friendly, as well as hypoallergenic, making them ideal pets for families with allergies. If you or someone you know can offer Ent a loving forever home, please reach out!   Let's work together to give this precious dog the life he truly deserves. Contact Maria at 410-881-3099. Story
Meet Reggie, a Miniature Poodle who was dumped on the streets to fend for himself. He was so scared to approach people that we had to trap him. His coat was so mangled and covered with cling ons that we had to shave him down completely and there was a beautiful dog under there! (before pics available on request) He's a sweet little boy but gets very nervous when strangers come in the house. He is best to be with an older couple and no small children in the house. He's very snuggly and lovable, just doesn't like a lot of commotion. Our vet estimated him to be around 4 -5 years. We had his teeth cleaned and polished as he had the beginning of tartar build up, more than likely due to a poor diet. He is neutered, heart worm negative, vaccinated, crate trained and microchipped. Reggie is more than ready for his forever home, could that be you? Reggie is ready for immediate transport PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE: $600

Story
Hi my name is Georgie.  I am a fabulous little miniature poodle who is 7 years old and I weigh 17 lbs.  I am an awesome little guy who is so very sad.  Today is the Sunday after Valentine's Day.  I spent Valentine's Day with my beloved mom and now I am in a strange home with 'other' dogs.  I miss my mom so much.  Her daughter told me that I was going to a loving foster home because my mom could no longer take proper care of me.  She was right but that did not help.  My foster mom is very nice and I know that I am safe and loved but....  It would be best for me to go ahead and find my forever home so that I do not have settle in twice.  I am a very sweet guy who loves adult people.  I would love to find a couple in their 50s or early 60s with no other dogs who would make me the center of their universe.  I am not being picky (well yes I am).  I don't ever want to go through the loss of my human again.  I am used to living with a woman but I also REALLY love men.  I know lots of tricks and would love to show you how smart I am.  I can shake hands,  high five, lie down, roll over and stand up and dance.  I am a little ham at heart.  I am paper trained but will do my business when you take me outside.  I do prefer that you go with me and would love a fence in yard of some sort.  I have no real health issues but I am allergic to chicken and a bit picky about what I eat.  I also have itchy skin but think that is because my mom bathed me too much.  I prefer going to the groomer and do need to go frequently.  I do need a new family that can afford to take care of me.  After all I think I am a prince.  I know how to walk on a leash but my favorite thing is to ride in my carriage.  (It is actually a stroller but I prefer carriage.)  I hope you have cried and then laughed at what I have had to say and that you are now ready to apply to be my true forever family.  I have been neutered and am current on all my shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.  To be considered for my forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (I am currently in Tennessee but can be transported to my forever family upon adoption.)February 23, 2025, 9:42 pm

Story
This handsome Miniature Poodle boy is called Wrigley and he is a young 3 year old, 14 pound sweetheart looking for a home.  His life started off with a breeder and he was purchased as a Christmas gift for young children who soon grew tired of the novelty puppy.  They were supposed to take care of him and the parents were not willing to pick up the slack for his care.  The solution was to put this poor 14 pound boy outside on a tie out in the cold elements of Winter.  A neighbor grew so concerned about him and asked if they would give him up to a rescue.  They fortunately agreed and soon this handsome Poodle was in the right hands that could change his life.  He needed to be neutered and it has been done with all other vetting.  Wrigley is a happy boy despite the lack of love and past care.  He seems to have been unfazed that he spent time alone outside and not receiving the real love and snuggles that he so freely gives now to his foster mom. He is back to working on being housebroken due to the tie-out time he spent outside but is crate trained and we have groomed him just before neutering him.  He has a whole new life ahead of him and we have polished him up to look as dapper as he could before leaving for a new forever home. If you have been looking for a young Poodle to rescue and love then this is a rare opportunity to get a fully vetted boy with no hidden issues or fears.  He is fine with other dogs, cats and gets along great with everyone he meets. Wrigley was wonderful to the children in the first home even though they did not appreciate him. This treasure is just waiting for a miracle family to love him.  Could that be you?  He is in Tennessee and we transport northward almost every weekend.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested.   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 14, 2025, 8:28 pm
