Meet River! She is about 11 months old, 52 lbs, and she likely has some boxer and doodle in her mix! River is one of a large unwanted litter. She is housetrained, working on being more comfortable left home alone and does OK on leash walks. We would recommend that she goes to a home with a fenced-in yard as she feels the safest there. She will need a patient person to continue to teach her how to be a great adult dog. She could go to a home with kids 5+ and possibly cats. No apartments, please!She isn't the biggest fan of other dogs and would do likely do best as an only pup, although she has warmed up to her canine foster sister after living with her for a few weeks. She hasn't live with cats since she came into our care however, she would likely do OK with a dog-savvy cat and slow introductions.River has some separation anxiety and will need someone who's home more often than not. We have a group of volunteer certified positive reinforcement trainers that we partner with and they will be able to work with River's new family to help her feel more comfortable when being left home alone. Her foster says, "River is very smart and eager to learn. She's a great listener and settles down when she needs to! She will make a great family dog/adventure friend...the most loyal best friend her lucky adopter(s) will ever have."She is available for adoption in Worcester, MA by appointment with an approved adopter. Meet Bones! Bones is about 1 year old, 40 lbs, and he may have some Poodle in his mix! He was found as a stray by an elderly couple and is too much for them. In his foster home, he is working hard on his house-training, crate-training and leash-walking. He could live with other dogs and kids 10+. Cats are unknown.His foster says, "Bones is super smart! Eager to learn and eager to please...especially whenthere are treats involved! He's already mastered sit, paw, and fetch. He loves to play with other dogs and can be a bit vocal when he gets super excited. He does best with pets over 20 lbs and kids 10 and older. He loves going for walks, runs, playing in the yard and raiding the toy basket. He loves all the attention he can get! At the end of the day, he loves nothing more than cuddling on the couch with his humans and four legged friends. He'd make a great family dog/adventure buddy...the most loyal bff his lucky adopter(s) will ever have!"He is available for adoption in Hopkinton by appointment. Gumbo/Beau loves running in my fields, playing hide-and-seek, and going for walks. He has the most gorgeous wavy non-shed coat. He does not seem to shed at all! Super soft and fluffy coat. He is a gorgeous dog. He is going on two years old. Gumbo/Beau is currently in Arkansas and would be transported to your location through the rescue network transport. Dominique is an extremely handsome, very social, black with a touch of white on his chest, male standard poodle born on 3/4/23. He currently weighs about 60 pounds and is a burning, burning hunk of love for sure, so it goes without waying that Dominique loves attention and is ready to bond with his special human. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, received a Proheart 6 shot and is also being kept on flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. His adoption donation is $700.00 plus $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Dominique the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Meet Beauty! Beauty is a 1 year old St. Bernadoodle. She has a nice short summer cut! She is 64lbs and is just the sweetest girl. She has been gaining lots of confidence being here with us and would really love to go home with her sister, Belle. That would be ideal for both of them to go together, if possible, but she could also go home with someone that has another friendly, confident dog. She is learning that life is great and is looking forward to her new furever family! Whether you keep her cut short or medium length, doodles do require routine grooming.
