*This dog is scheduled to arrive in Grimsby, Ontario on Saturday, March 22, 2025*Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website. Glenda is a small poodle mix with a heart full of love and a smile that will melt you! This sweet girl is a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she lights up the room with zoomies, happy hops, and her signature open-mouthed smile. She adores snuggles and will happily curl up in your lap for love and attention. Glenda is great with other dogs her size and enjoy a canine companion in her forever home, though not required. Shes almost fully house-trained, walks well on a leash, and enjoys playing outside with other dogs. When Glenda was picked up as s stray she was very dehydrated, and we only hoped that she would pull through. Fortunately she did and once she received her dental (prior to adoption, she is going to be looking and feeling better than ever! With her fur-type, Glenda will need regular grooming. Glenda's favourite type of food is 'Fresh Pet'. Her ideal home includes someone who enjoys spending time with a devoted lap dog, after a daily walk of course. If youre looking for a gentle, affectionate, and absolutely joyful companion, Glenda is your girl! Story
WATERDOWN, ON - Meet Chaz, a resilient and loving Standard Poodle with a story of second chances. Chaz's early life was challenging—he struggled with separation anxiety and was misunderstood by his previous family, who didn't know how to meet his needs. When left alone, Chaz experienced stress, which sometimes led to destructive behavior. Sadly, his family resorted to tying him in the basement when they were away. Thankfully, Chaz’s story took a turn for the better when he came into our care. Now, he's ready to start a new chapter with a family who understands and cherishes him.

Story
Thank you for your interest in Stormy. Sometimes tragedy happens. Stormy and his brother, Zeus, lived with a single owner. Unfortunately their health took a turn for the worse and they were hospitalized. No one was at home with Stormy and he lived inside the house for 10 days. There were people coming in to see him sporadically, but he wasn't getting outside on a regular basis. You can imagine what happened. The dogs were forced to urinate and defecate in the house. We don't know if they were doing this even prior to their owner being hospitalized. Thankfully a concerned friend was able to convince the owner to surrender their dogs and then reached out to SPIN. We rushed to bring both dogs into our care. Once with us we asked some rescue colleagues for help and Zeus moved to Rocky Road Rescue where he is now thriving under their care.

Story
Lexi / Spayed Female / 1.5 Years / Poodle Mix / 45lbs / Dogs: Not in Home / Cats: Yes / Kids: 13+ / Location: Port Colborne Meet Lexi, a playful and affectionate poodle mix who’s a little bit of everything—rumored to have some German Shepherd, hound, and more in her! She’s turning two this April and is ready to find her forever home. Lexi is a cuddle lover who enjoys fetch, trail walks, and running around outside. Bonus: her recall is fantastic! While Lexi can be a bit jealous of sharing her humans, she’s a social butterfly when it comes to playing with other dogs—just not in her own home. Because of this, we’re looking for a no-pet home where Lexi can be the one and only dog, soaking up all the love and attention she deserves. She’s house and crate trained, and she’s a dream in the car—perfect for road trips or tag-along adventures! Great news—Lexi is also good with cats! She wouldn’t mind sharing her home with a cat (or a few), so if you have feline friends, she’s all for it! Lexi would thrive in an active household, especially one that loves outdoor activities like hiking. She’s met some kids and did well with them, but due to her high energy, we recommend older kids who can keep up with her! Lexi is sweet, affectionate, and has come so far on her journey. We can’t wait to see her continue to grow and flourish in her forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s ready for adventure, Lexi might just be the one for you! Lexi is spayed, vaccinated, and is microchipped. She is being fostered in Port Colborne. Apply to Adopt! https://forms.gle/LYPUZurhowtBTNYE8
