Story
Colby is a sweet 4yo cat that was adopted as a kitten from a barn litter. He loves playing with lasers and yarn and can be very energetic. He sleeps most of the day and gives lots of cuddles, he is really social and welcoming to guests. Our other cat has never been welcoming and Colby has been anxious around the litter boxes and is currently on anxiety meds and has had one blocked urethra. We're hoping to find a loving home where he can be around welcoming pets and will no longer require extra medication.

Story
Lacey’s a lovely, sweet, one-year-old kitty who was living outdoors as a stray and being fed by some kind people who brought her to The Rescue Pack when the weather got cold last winter. She’s still bit on the shy side but warms up quickly, is friendly with people, and likes to be with her fosters. She will approach visitors she hasn’t met. She likes having her head and chin scratched. Because she is still learning the joys of living indoors with people, she’s not a cuddly cat (yet?) and does not want to be picked up or held, but she sleeps at the foot of the bed with her fosters and continues to gain confidence being close to people every day. Her fur has a beautiful “glow’ to it and is very soft. Lacey has the cutest behavior when eating - when eating her wet food, she licks it for a bit but then picks up a portion of her food with her paw and eats it out of her paw. She will repeat this many times. She’s playful, inquisitive, easygoing, and enjoys exploring her environment. She loves to sit in the top perch of her cat tree and watch the birds. She probably would not be comfortable in a home with young children. She has done well living alongside dogs in a previous foster home. Lacey has been spayed and FeLV / FIV tested. All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. If you are interested in meeting Lacey, please go to our website and fill out a cat application. https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application

Story
Daisy is ready to blossom with a new furever family of her own. At roughly 2 years of age, she thinks living inside, having a steady food source, and lots of love is the life for her. Daisy wandered up to the right people, announced her pregnancy, and entered the amazing world of rescue. Now that she has delivered and nursed a wonderful kitten, she is ready to be a kitten herself. Daisy is a world-class air biscuit maker who loves head scratches and belly rubs. She has a lot of stories to tell and so much love to give...both to her new people and she loves other cats. Daisy would thrive in a home with another friendly cat or kitten! Daisy is still discovering the joy of toys and mostly likes to "flop and make biscuits" when there is love to be given. Daisy excels at climbing cat trees and spends her afternoons chilling in the cat hut. She makes a great office assistant and is ready to show off her snuggle skills. Estimated age of 2 years, litter trained, loves treats...weighs around 7 LBs. All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. She will be spayed and microchipped as part of her adoption fee. She has tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you are interested in meeting Daisy, please go to our website and fill out a cat application. https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application

Story
? Looking for a Forever Home: The Trio of Love ? Meet Charlie, Chickpea, and Chai - a bonded triad of feline wonders ready to steal your heart! Rescued from the streets at just 5-6 months old in October 2023, these adorable siblings have come a long way on their journey to find their forever home. Though initially shy around humans, their curiosity and bravery have blossomed, and they're now ready to bring endless joy and companionship to a loving family. ? Their Journey So Far: From timid beginnings to growing confidence, Charlie, Chickpea, and Chai have transformed before our eyes. They've embraced the comforts of indoor living, reveling in playful romps together and exploring every nook and cranny of their foster home. Their favorite pastimes include chasing each other through the house, wrestling with toys, and indulging in treats. Their sweet meows and synchronized treat pleas are guaranteed to melt your heart! Over the past 7 months, they've made remarkable progress, transitioning from hiding to eagerly seeking out human company. They now follow their foster around, engaging in adorable conversations and even daring to offer affectionate rubs and sneaky sniffs during naptime. Every day brings new breakthroughs, and they're poised to thrive in a patient and nurturing environment. ? Meet the Trio: Charlie: The vocal charmer, Charlie can often be found lounging in a cat tree with his signature one-arm dangle. He's a playful spirit, always up for a chase or wrestling match with his sisters. His enthusiasm for treats is infectious, and he's a key player in the snack time chorus. Chickpea: The petite sweetheart with the tiniest meow, Chickpea adores her brother Charlie and is never far from his side. She's a foodie at heart, always eager to investigate mealtime offerings. Her playful nature shines during wrestling sessions and toy-chasing escapades, and she loves observing the world from her favorite window perch. Chai: With her stunning auburn highlights, Chai is the boldest of the trio, inching closer to accepting affection from her foster. While she enjoys her own space for sleep, she's always ready to join in the fun with her siblings. From window gazing to catnip rolling, she's a curious explorer with a playful spirit. ? Finding Their Perfect Home: Ideally, Charlie, Chickpea, and Chai would love to stay together as a bonded triad, providing each other with comfort and companionship. However, they're also open to the possibility of being adopted in pairs, as long as they find homes where they'll receive the patience, respect, and love they deserve. A quiet environment without children, alongside humans who appreciate the beauty of their trust-building journey, would be ideal for these special kitties. Don't miss out on the opportunity to welcome these delightful furballs into your life. Witnessing their continued growth and blossoming personalities is an experience like no other. If you're ready to open your heart and home to Charlie, Chickpea, and Chai, please reach out. Together, let's make their dreams of a forever family come true! Thank you for considering adoption and helping these precious cats find their happily ever after. All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. They have been spayed/neutered and microchipped. Story
Earl is a playful and affectionate cat with a laid-back nature. He and his sister Elise were born in August 2023. They were both born with heart murmurs, so when their litter mates got adopted, they had to stay back for some additional veterinary care. After receiving an echocardiogram in May 2024, Earl and Elise received the wonderful news that their heart functioning has improved and they’re expected to live long, normal lives, just with some additional veterinary appointments (more details below). Earl and Elise have developed a very close bond, so they’re looking for a forever home that will take them both. They love to run around and play together. Even though Earl is about twice as big as his sister, he’s very gentle with her. When they wrestle together, he’ll often lay on his back and let her repeatedly pounce on him. They both enjoy sitting near windows and watching the outside world go by. During their down time they love to snuggle up and groom each other. Even though Earl and Elise have a strong bond with each other, they both have plenty of love to give those around them. They like to sit near their foster mom while she’s working from home or watching movies, and they love being pet. Perhaps their most endearing quality is how sensitive they are to other animals. They lived with a very scared adult foster cat for a few months. Right off the bat Earl and his sister took turns keeping the cat company in her hiding place. Over time they helped her to feel comfortable in the human world, and they even taught her how to play with toys and with other cats. Earl and his sister have also lived with a small, shy dog. Whenever their canine companion comes back from a walk, they rush to the door to give him kisses and nuzzles. They both love to snuggle up with him when it’s time for a nap. Earl and Elise will make a great addition to a family with or without other pets. As noted above, they will have some additional veterinary costs that potential adopters should be aware of. Much more detail can be provided upon request, but in short, both Earl and Elise are recommended to have a follow up echocardiogram in the next year. These appointments cost roughly $300-$600 per cat. Depending on the outcome, it could be recommended that these appointments be repeated annually. In addition, Elise takes an oral heart medication twice per day, and this costs about $25 per month. She’s expected to be on this medication at least until her next echocardiogram, and possibly longer. All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. Earl and Elise have been spayed/neutered and microchipped. They have tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you are interested in meeting Earl and Elise, please go to our website and fill out a cat application.

Udon is currently going on 4 years old. I am unable to keep him, as I had an offer to move to Florida that I was not expecting. I am unable to take him with me. He loves to play with rope, toy balls, and stuffed animal cat toys. He loves to follow the sun for places to lay, but also enjoys having his own dedicated spot.

Story
Christina is our scared sweetheart. Unfortunately our other cat has started attacking her and our efforts to calm the conflict have not worked. Since Christina is anxious she hisses at all members of our family and therefore they prefer the other cat and want to send Christina on her way. She startles easily and the hissing seems like a reflex. Christina is affectionate on her own terms. Each night she wants pets and she sleeps in the bed with us. She loooves to be brushed. She enjoys lounging in her window. Since she is an anxious indoor cat we haven’t kept up with her shots, but she is healthy, very well trained with using her litter box, and has a healthy appetite. She is “food motivated” and can be won over with treats in a short time. She is 8 years old and was adopted by us as a kitten from a local rescue. She is hearty. Due to the conflict with her co-cat I think she would do best as the only pet and best with older kids who would know how to give her safe space. Fee negotiable.

Story
Hi My name is Looney Beans! I was named this because I love to play a lot and I am stripped like a pinto bean. I was born outside under a shed. I was rescued at a couple weeks old. So I don’t know much about the outside world. So I wouldn’t be able to survive on my own. I love to chat and tell you when I am hungry or want something from you. I love to cuddle and sleep with you if you will let me. I’m ok if you don’t wish me to. I don’t like dogs as they scare me. I will not totally freak out but will hiss at them. I have a nice and outgoing personality if you give me a chance. I love it when my humans call to me when its chow time. I will come running to them. I will be shy for the first two weeks but Give me an opportunity and I will show you my gratitude. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I will be waiting patiently for new home. Rehoming fee will be used to help other cats in need.

Story
Are you looking for an affectionate, friendly older kitten? Rascal is a sweet, friendly, brown tabby born Nov. 2022. He greets you at the door and purrs on contact with known people. His loud purr can be heard when you pet him. Rascal is kitten-active and quiet until meal time when he tells you to hurry up. He enjoys the company of girl cats, hasn’t met dogs, and should be fine with gentle children. Rascal isn’t thrilled with being held but will jump up to sit next to you on the sofa. Rascal enjoys watching wildlife at the window and plays with toys by himself and with interactive toys with you. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com . If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
Sunshine, a male orange tabby was born around April 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d enjoy another cat for a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Are you the patient person willing to give him time to trust and blossom in a new setting and you be rewarded with a special relationship with him? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots.
