Laney is the sweetest kitty. She currently lives with a dog and another cat. I am moving and cannot take her and the other cat to our new home. We are sad to put her up for adoption but want her to be in a home where she can get all the attention she deserves.

Story
Shadow was originally found alone on the streets as a kitten and brought to a county shelter. She was subsequently adopted as a gift for an elderly woman who had recently lost her cat. Unfortunately, the woman was moved to memory care where she was not allowed to have pets. Our daughter, knowing of the situation, approached us and asked if we’d be willing to take the kitty. We agreed and have had her with us for approximately five years. At this time we are looking for another loving home due to the stressors of my husband’s struggle with Early Onset Alzheimer’s. Shadow will often settle herself on my husband’s lap, or curl up next to one of us as we are sleeping. Being a typical cat she does this (and most things) at her own discretion. She can be playful, curious and entertaining, as well as shy and self protective with new people. She has lived in a home with a small dog, but not with children. She tolerates our grandchildren when they visit, but prefers to maintain her distance.

Story
it’s with a heavy heart that i have to give away my babies coco chanel and mothman. i’m relocating and unfortunately can’t afford to bring them with me. coco is the boy with the white nose, and mothman is the one that’s all brown. they are house cats only. they are litter box trained, they are great with other animals. they LOVE attention. coco is a big cuddler and mothman is a big sweetheart that needs a little more time to warm up to people but once he does he will not leave you alone. A little back story on the two, they came from a litter of my sisters cat, she moved and i raised the boys from 4 weeks old. they are now 2 and a half years old. they are extremely attached to eachother so id love to find a home where they’re both welcome. i’m not going to be charging anything for them, i just want to make sure they find a home where they’ll be loved and cared for.

Story
Sunshine, a male orange tabby was born around April 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d enjoy another cat for a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Are you the patient person willing to give him time to trust and blossom in a new setting and you be rewarded with a special relationship with him? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com . If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~* *

Story
Dilly, an affectionate brown/black tabby kitten, was born July 2023. He was found injured behind a store. Dilly has agouti speckled fur and polydactyl feet. If he knows you, he is okay being picked up and held, plus reaches up to touch your nose. When you sit, he will jump in to your lap or will let you place him in your lap, staying for short sessions of petting and brushing. Dilly often rolls over for tummy stroking, and he likes to sleep with you. Dilly likes the foster family’s young dog and plays with him. He likes kittens plus passive adult female cats. He hides from active kids and is shy around strangers. Dilly likes to supervise the cleaning of the litterbox and occasionally is underfoot. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Dilly would do best with another pet for a friend. Foster kitten pals are available. If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Story
Meet Gypsy! - a brown, tan, black and white female tabby who was found as a stray. The vet thinks she was born around June 2023. Gypsy is quiet, mellow and affectionate on her terms. She is friendly with trusted folks, tolerates being picked up for a short time. Gypsy likes brushing, petting, playing with toys if there is no competition. She will jump into your lap when you sit, staying for short periods of time. Gypsy lives with an active dog and other cats, all of which she gets along with. She hasn’t met children, but will do well if they are respectful and gentle. She is friendly with strangers after around 20 minutes. She uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. Story
Arnold is a 3 year-old black cat I previously rescued. He is energetic, spunky, curious, and super cuddly when he gets to know you. Due to the fact he was abandoned as a kitten, he does eat anything he can get into, so you just need to be careful with leaving out food (he will try to eat most human food). He also can get a bit restless at night, so I have crate-trained him and he sleeps in a crate every night when we all go to bed. The reason I am looking to rehome Arnold is that I am going to be moving into a new house with my girlfriend, and she is very allergic to cats. As difficult as the situation is and as much as I love Arnold, I know he needs to find a new loving home. I am only going to rehome him if I can find someone to adopt him and his brother Oscar (tabby cat pictured). They are a bonded pair, and they are best buddies and brothers. They would do best in a home where humans are around regularly, as they are both very social.

Story
Hi! My name is Oliver and my foster mom tells me that I am a handsome boy who is sure to win your heart!! I used to live outside until I wandered up on my foster mom's doorstep. She was nice enough to feed me and allow me to come inside and out of the cold. At first, I was shy and skittish. Every sound and new room was scary. But now, I love running around, chasing feathers, and playing with the resident cats. My mom says she is amazed at how acrobatic I am. I also love getting attention and lots of pets and scratches behind my ears. And at night, I love sleeping right next to my humans. Unfortunately, I tested positive for FIV, which means my immune system is a bit compromised. As long as I stay strong and healthy, I am a happy cat! I love living at my foster home, but it is a bit crowded, and I would love to find my own family!! If you think I would be a great fit for your home, I would be furrever grateful. I'll even give you head bumps and kitty kisses everday!

Story
Mango turns one around April 10th. She is a very cuddly and lovable cat. Unfortunately, she has a severe food addiction and will do anything to find food. Anyone who adopts her must be prepared to ensure their kitchen is inaccessible or that food cannot be reached by her. Mango currently has a sister (who is several years older) that has bonded with her. I currently plan on keeping her sister, but if I notice her sister is not acting normally I may contact you asking if you are interested in a second (friendly and non-food-addicted) cat.
