Story

Arnold is a 3 year-old black cat I previously rescued. He is energetic, spunky, curious, and super cuddly when he gets to know you. Due to the fact he was abandoned as a kitten, he does eat anything he can get into, so you just need to be careful with leaving out food (he will try to eat most human food). He also can get a bit restless at night, so I have crate-trained him and he sleeps in a crate every night when we all go to bed. The reason I am looking to rehome Arnold is that I am going to be moving into a new house with my girlfriend, and she is very allergic to cats. As difficult as the situation is and as much as I love Arnold, I know he needs to find a new loving home. I am only going to rehome him if I can find someone to adopt him and his brother Oscar (tabby cat pictured). They are a bonded pair, and they are best buddies and brothers. They would do best in a home where humans are around regularly, as they are both very social.

Hi! My name is Oliver and my foster mom tells me that I am a handsome boy who is sure to win your heart!! I used to live outside until I wandered up on my foster mom's doorstep. She was nice enough to feed me and allow me to come inside and out of the cold. At first, I was shy and skittish. Every sound and new room was scary. But now, I love running around, chasing feathers, and playing with the resident cats. My mom says she is amazed at how acrobatic I am. I also love getting attention and lots of pets and scratches behind my ears. And at night, I love sleeping right next to my humans. Unfortunately, I tested positive for FIV, which means my immune system is a bit compromised. As long as I stay strong and healthy, I am a happy cat! I love living at my foster home, but it is a bit crowded, and I would love to find my own family!! If you think I would be a great fit for your home, I would be furrever grateful. We love Tom. We adopted him six months ago from a family who had a litter of six kittens and was moving. The other kittens were taken to the Humane Society. I really wanted to adopt at least one of the cats, but this experience has become more of a financial burden and responsibility than I was expecting. Harmony takes a while to warm up to new people, but once he does he is very sweet. He loves attention and likes getting into trouble, which does not involve breaking things but does involve chewing up stuff (not wires in our experience, but stuffed animals and hair ties). I was originally babysitting him for a friend, but after 6 months they gave up ownership as they are not able to take him back. Harmony is nice to people but does not get along with our cat Buster, so our home is unfortunately not a safe space for him. We are looking for a owner with patience and one who does not already have any cats/dogs or small children. I promise your patience will be rewarded when it comes to Harmony!

Rocket is an 8 month old lazy ham! He is a cuddly, lower energy guy, he enjoys sitting in a lap, laying on his back and getting belly rubs. His temperament is pretty chill, overall. We received him from a farm that had an excess of barn cats when he was a kitten. He is neutered and up to date on shots. Currently living in our home with another cat. She does not like him, and it has put a strain on his demeanor. We are dealing with a spraying problem, as he is stressed by her antagonizing him - which is what has led us to needing to rehome. We do think he would do best in a house with another cat, but it would have to be a cat that is known to do well with other cats. He just wants companionship with another cat and owners. We have a child and he adores our child as well. He is 11lbs and eats mostly wet food, and enjoys a water fountain. He likes scratching posts and catnip toys. But is happiest being held, and cuddled.

I have had Addie and Pumpkin since they were both kittens. Addie is 6 and Pumpkin is 4. They are both very sweet and enjoy being spoiled. Addie is more independent, but does enjoy snuggling after she approaches and Pumpkin is a cuddle bug all the way. It is not uncommon for Pumpkin to crawl under blankets to sleep with you, while Addie sits by your feet. I am only rehoming since a household member is allergic.

Bud is a sweet, affectionate cat who’s been my best friend. From the moment he wakes up, he meows his greetings, follows you around, and curls up close, purring contentedly at each pet. I’d hoped we’d stay together forever, but my child’s severe allergies and asthma make it impossible to give Bud the time and care he deserves. He used to live alongside his feline brother—who moved out with my sister—and still misses that companionship. Ella was adopted as a kitten when she was 8 weeks old from a Humane Society. She loves to play and is energetic and sassy. She will come and curl up on your lap when she is ready and does like to be petted especially under her chin. She is affectionate with me and lived peacefully with me and my other cat until recently. She seems to have developed anxiety toward the other cat in the household and my other cat is afraid of her. I need to find her a new home for the sake of the other cat. She does seem to have some general anxiety around unfamiliar situations and people so may take some time to settle into a new home but I think she would be a good cat once she feels comfortable. It may be advisable for her to be in a home as an only pet and probably one that is somewhat quiet. She has not been around dogs or children. I have taken very good care of her and feel sick about rehoming her but need to for the sake of my other cat.
