Story
MALCOLM and MARNIE are approx. 4 years old. They are both cute brown and white tabbies. They enjoy the routine in their foster home and their individual personalities have blossomed. They love being together and Marnie feels braver with Malcolm nearby. Malcolm has short hair and loves playing with his two rope toys in particular, pushing them under a door and then trying to scoop them back inside. When called, he stops whatever he’s doing to enthusiastically run over for affection. Malcolm is so excited to get neck rubs and back scratches that he happily purrs and bonks his head into anything and everything nearby - furniture, his foster’s legs, his food dish, or whatever else happens to be close! He gives gentle love bites to his foster’s ankles and toes to ask for attention. He will sit on his foster's lap when she is relaxing. Marnie has lovely thick, medium hair and had become more at ease. She is very curious and likes to check out what her people are doing and wants to be in the same room as they are. She loves treats and eats out of her foster’s hand and has learned that being petting is great - just don't move too fast or she will run. Marnie enjoys playing with any kind of interactive feather toy on a string. When she is feeling especially shy, she tucks herself underneath her kitty bed and moves around the room with it on top of her. She loves sitting at the top of her cat tree by the window and watching the activity in the yard. If you are a special person who has a lot of patience and who can give Malcolm and Marnie a quiet home and consistent routine, they will give you so much in return (they do well when they know what to expect). They would do best in a home without other animals or children and in a home where their people don't plan on moving. Malcolm and Marnie are neutered/spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Their adoption fee is $320 for the adorable pair. Call 651-771-5662 if you are the special person for these two sweet cats.

Story
RILEY is a stunning girl who is approx. 3 years old. She is a beautiful brown and black tiger with emerald green eyes and is very sweet and gentle. Riley is happy to be safely indoors; it took her some time to feel brave and trust her fosters but she has blossomed into a wonderful cat. She loves to play with her toys – the ball in the ring that goes around, mice, balls, anything! She will happily come to you if you have a treat for her. When she hears the treat bag, she immediately stretches, then rubs against you or comes to you to get her treats. She sleeps on the bed at night but isn’t a big cuddler yet (that may come with time). Riley loves the other cats in the foster home and will take naps with one of them and hang out in the sunshine with them. She likes to be petted and purrs happily, and she loves to be brushed; although she gets scared if a hand surprises her in her face – she likes slow movements and gentle voices (she hasn't been around men). Riley is a sweet and beautiful cat who wants to be loved. She needs a quiet home without dogs or children and a patient, kind adopter who will help her slowly adjust to her new home - just as she has nicely adjusted to her foster home. She would also like a friendly cat or two in her forever home (she is in the same foster home as George so they could be adopted together). A home rather than an apartment is preferred so she doesn't have to move and move. Riley is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $175. Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about sweet, gentle Riley.

Story
LEALAH is a beautiful 2 year old short-medium hair, white and black girl with adorable markings. She takes a little while to warm up and feel brave in her safe room but once she adjusts, she is a sweet and fun girl. Lealah plays with enthusiasm and really likes playing with interactive toys with her foster mom and dad. Lealah carries her toys around with her and she is learning to play fetch. She is a good conversationalist and will talk to you about her day. She really enjoys being petted. She loves to show her silly side, chasing around her favorite little fabric ball and rolling around. She is very smart and has mastered the treats puzzle! She loves companionship and is very inquisitive, wanting to be a part of any activity that is happening in the home. Once Lealah is tuckered out from playing, she likes to sit or lay by her foster and loves head scratches and you can hear her loud purrr. She really loves using (and laying on) the cardboard scratchers on the floor. Lealah enjoys naps in the empty spaces of her foster's built-in bookshelves. She also enjoys sitting and napping by the window and soaking up the sunshine and watching the activity. Lealah was previously in a home with cats but we don’t know if she liked that situation or not. She has not been around cats in her foster home. She has never been around dogs so a home without dogs is required. Since Lealah is shy at first, a home without children is her preference. Her adopter should be a patient person who will help Lealah adjust to her new home, and then she will become your best friend. Lealah is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about beautiful Lealah.

Story
RUDY is a very sweet young cat who is 9 months old. He is an orange tiger with deep gold eyes and lovely markings. Rudy is a social boy who runs and plays with everything. When he wants attention, he will jump up on you to remind you he is there. He loves to play with anything that wiggles. Rudy especially likes head scratches and he will rub up against your legs to ask for them, and he purrs happily when being petted. Rudy usually naps midday and is often seen with a big smile on his face when he naps. When the fosters get home after work he is ready to play and loves to chase after the laser pointer. Rudy uses the carpeted scratching tree and the cardboard floor scratcher, and loves watching the birds and squirrels out the windows. He gets along well with other cats and needs another young cat friend in his forever home. He has not been around dogs in the program. Rudy enjoys hanging out with the foster's grandchildren when they visit so older kids would be fine (10+ years). Remember, cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can give them their forever home. Rudy is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about friendly, adorable Rudy.

Story
AMBER is a beautiful torti with deep orange and black markings and gorgeous gold eyes. She is approx. 9-10 months old and a petite girl. Amber is the sweetest cat who wants a human best friend (no other animals in her life, please). She sleeps on the foster’s bed at night and is such an easy cat to have around. She loves to play with anything that wiggles and uses the cardboard scratching pad and carpeted post. Amber kneads a soft pillow or blanket and purrs happily when she is relaxing. If she isn’t getting enough attention from you, she will tap you or put her feet on your back to let you know she is there and ready for more pets and play time. Amber is very affectionate and purrs up a storm when she is getting love and petting. If you are reading or watching tv near her, she will plop down right next to you for cuddles. She was fine around the foster’s granddaughter once she realized she was going to play with her. As noted above, Amber needs to be the only animal in her home. Remember cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can give her a forever home. Amber is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about this sweet and beautiful girl.

Story
DOB: 08/15/2017 Katie Ann was surrendered by her owner when the new girlfriend became allergic. Fortunately, Katie Ann found her way to us! This adorable girl has a lot of love to share. She may have a touch of sass from time to time but she would much prefer to show her cuddly side. She is good about being held and is happy to keep a lap warm in the chilly months. She still has a lot of energy for play and can carry on a conversation at will. She will cuddle for hours if her human gives her the chance! Katie Ann lived with another cat for a short period of time and although we believe that she would prefer to have a human to herself in her new home. Katie Ann has been spayed, vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative) and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225+tax

Story
SISTER TRIO!! Name: Rascal & Twinsy Breed: DSH DOB: 5-1-2016 Gender: Female Color: Brown Tabby Name: Simy Breed: DSH DOB: 5-1-2016 Gender: Female Color: Siamese mix Rascal, Twinsy and Simy came to us from a home where there was an overpopulation of cats. The three sisters initially had a number of health issues due to the poor living conditions and lack of quality food. After receiving vet care, dentals and quality food and care, their health has improved greatly! All three have shown a great sisterly-bond and will need to be adopted together. They are shy but amazingly sweet kitties. Once they settle in, they will seek out attention and love to follow their human around the house. They adore attention and snuggle time. We suspect that these kitties have mild characteristics of CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia). This is a neurological disorder that only affects their balance and mobility. They have been doing really well with getting around with a few extra "steps" and places to make it easier to climb. They have also all had some dental issues and have had bouts of gingivitis. With quality food and care, they can live a long and happy life. The sister trio will need a quiet home with no young children or dogs. They will also need a home that can accommodate for their limitations to make it easier and safe for them to live comfortably. They will also need to continue to be on grain-free canned food diet along with inexpensive immune boosting supplements to keep their teeth and immune systems strong. All three have been spayed, vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative) and microchipped. They have all had dentals recently as well. Adoption fee is $575+tax

Story
DOB: 10-12-2019 Captain is a very sweet boy with a big heart. He initially showed up at a farm with a few battle wounds from his journey. Fortunately, he found his way to us! Captain appreciates getting pets and is even good about being held. He loves to play and has plenty of energy. He adores catnip which will bring out his quirky purrsonaliity even more. When he wants attention, he will gently grab you with his paw. He seems to settle in to new situation pretty easily. He does not exhibit many fears and seems comfortable with a vacuum and other house noises. We have found that he can be a little too assertive with other cats so we feel that it would be best for him to be the only cat in the home. He would probably do ok with an older well-mannered child. We do not know how he would be with a dog. Captain has been neutered, vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV/HW (negative), tested for parasites (negative) and microchipped. His adoption fee is $230+tax
