Hello, My name is Purrscilla. I was brought into rescue two years ago & been in my foster ever since. I was semi feral when I first came into rescue. Will a lot of time, patience & consistency I have blossomed with my other cat friends. I have now allowed petting & seek out attention from my foster mom for many months now. She feels in the right home I can continue to be brave & seek out attention. I hope you choose to help me be the best kitty I can be. I can't wait for you to visit me in my foster home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 9:18 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Fern. I was brought to SFAAR when I was only a few weeks old. When I was 3 month old I went to the vet to be spayed. While I was at the vet, I was diagnosed with a grade 5 heart murmur and heart failure. Because of that, I may not have a full life span. Despite all that, I love to play with other cats and I adore people. I enjoy my food and eat like a normal kitty. While my time here may be short, I just celebrated two years in rescue. My heart condition is being controlled with heart medication, but because I am doing so awesome in my foster home, I am not curretly on any medication. Even though we don't know how much longer I will be around, I am enjoying every second I have and am living life to the fullest.Sometimes I get a urniary tract infection or ear infection, but those are treated very easily with antibiotics.SFAAR will adopt Fern into a home that understands his life expectancy is unknown and who has experience with a cat with a heart issue. They would also need to continue her medication and help keep her quality of life comfortable.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2025, 5:30 pm

Story
I’m Boy George, with a sweet, laid-back vibe and a dash of playful energy. I was found as a stray, and while no one came forward to claim me, I haven’t let that dampen my spirit. I can be a little shy at first, but once I feel at ease, I’ll happily lean in for some pets and companionship. I get along well with other cats but would be just as content as your one-and-only. With my mature, dignified charm—and just enough spunk to keep life interesting—I’m the perfect mix of mellow and fun. All I’m missing now is a cozy spot and a loving forever home. Maybe that’s with you?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 20, 2025, 2:59 pm

Story
Hello, My name is Mika. I came from a farm at a few days old with my 2 mom's and 7 siblings. Now that we are old enough we are ready to be adopted & into our new family. We are typical kittens that are playful. We do best with a kitty friend to learn from. We can be a bit shy at first in a busier environment but warm up quickly. We can't wait for a chance to be adopted into our very own forever home. It's all we have been dreaming about.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 9:18 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Chateau. I was born in a foster home after my mama, Pippi, was rescued from being a stray. She is a great mama.I'm a pretty little black and white cat with a little white stripe running down my nose. Just like my brothers and sister, I am very playful and a bundle of energy. I love hiding in boxes, chasing little balls and wrestling with my brothers and sister.I'm also curious and like to explore. I try to get in every open door or cupboard I can. I'm just curious and want to see what's in there. You never know, there might be something I can play with. That reminds me, running up and down my cat tree is fun too. I am a bit more quite than my brothers and sister. But don't get me wrong, I love my family and love to be near them. My foster mom holds me like a little baby. I am a nicely trained little girl and always use my litter box. I'm still learning not to jump up on the table. I really want to see what everyone is eating. I'm starting to understand that when foster mom says 'NO' I'm supposed to get down. I'm getting better at it!Although my siblings and I wrestle a lot, I like to curl up and sleep with them too. They are my best buddies. I would love to go to a home where someone would play with me. I like to chash those toys on long strings that my foster mom pulls around. That is lots of fun. I was recently diagnosed with Inflamatory Bowel Disease, which is unusual for a kitten. Because of that, I will need to be on prescription food for the rest of my life. Don't let that worry you though, I am doing wonderfully on my new food and enjoying life to the fullest. I'm a sweet, friendly kitten that loves to be with my family. Maybe you could be my new family! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2025, 8:49 pm
