Story
Delilah is all white except for a black tail and 2 spots on her head. The vet thinks she was born in 2019. Delilah is quiet, avoidant of strangers, friendly with her trusted persons, and affectionate on her terms. She accepts a little brushing on her back, shies from petting, and doesn’t want to be held. If there is no competition, she rolls over on her tummy when playing with wand toys and also plays by herself with toys. Delilah enjoys watching wildlife at the window. She gets along with male cats and is competitive with some girl cats. Delilah has not met dogs or kids under age nine. She enjoys the company of her calico daughter, Dotty. Delilah needs a patient adopter willing to give her time to trust and blossom to be the nice cat that she is. She uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612-202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
3 yr 7 m0 JR was found as an abandoned cat and turned over to rescue. The vet thinks he was born around April 2020. JR likes playing with wand toys and watching wildlife at the window. He likes petting, brushing, and purrs contentedly after a while. He would do best having another cat for a buddy. With proper introductions, he gets along with most cats. JR is friendly with trusted folks and shy/avoidant around strangers. He is affectionate on his own terms. He is quiet until meal time when he tells you to hurry up. JR would be best with kids over age seven, and he hasn’t met dogs. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Story
Ivory, born June 2023, was found abandoned in a park as a tiny kitten with a sibling. She is white with a few black spots on the top of her head. Ivory is very friendly with known folks and shy of strangers. She is affectionate, easy-going, and quiet until meal time. She greets you at the door, follows you, plus likes to sleep with you. She will jump into your lap when you sit or let you place her there, staying as long as you brush or pet her. Ivory purrs on contact with a trusted person. She gives kitty kisses, rubs against your face, plus will play with her water dish and with running water. Ivory plays with toys by herself or interactively with you, and likes watching wildlife at the window. She is passive with most other cats, has met kids over age seven and is fine with them, plus she interacts with the resident dog. Ivory would enjoy the company of another pet, after proper introduction. She uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. Story
Are you looking for an out-going female kitten that is friendly with trusted folks and with strangers after a couple minutes of sniffing. This confident, easy-going female tuxedo has 4 white paws and is a periodic talker. Eden was found and unclaimed. The vet says she was born in October 2023. She has a medium purr that is quickly heard when a trusted person is near. Eden ankle rubs, likes being picked up, and enjoys being cradled like a baby. She will jump into your lap when you sit or let you place her there. Eden stays for short sessions of petting and brushing and then is off to play with toys or watch the goings on out the window. She plays with running water and likes to sleep with you for part of the night. The foster home has an active dog which she tolerates and there are other kitten pals there which she likes. Eden uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Story
Harry is 13 and likes attention, especially being scratched under his chin and behind his ears. He likes to sit on someone's lap and snuggles in for a petting and purring session. He does NOT like being petted on the top of his head. Harry enjoys being brushed. He's lived in a house with a three-season porch so he can see the outside world and approaches any and every door in the hopes of going outside. He is independent but likes to be around people. He would prefer to be the only pet but would be ok with a calm dog or another cat. He doesn't play very much but loves rubbing his face on the cat nip toys. Harry is diabetic and requires insulin injections with twice daily meals. He is very good when getting the injections. He is also on a prescription diet for his diabetes.Harry has had a complete wellness exam, is microchipped, neutered, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and is updated on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $225.00 which includes a free wellness exam within 7 days of adoption. Harry is currently located in a foster home. Payment is either cash or check. Sorry, we do not do any out-of-state adoptions. ADOPTING A PET IS A LIFELONG COMMITMENT!

Story
Adoption fee: $200, plus taxes Location: Foster home I'm a recent momma cat looking for a home where I can be the baby now! Tootsie is very pretty and very sweet with very soft fur. She loves attention from her people. She will roll her head and make sure you get ample opportunity to give her chin pets. She is very graceful jumping and is quite a good athlete. At our Adoption center she would love to get up high on our cat shelves and survey her domain. A nice cat tree by a window would be right up her alley. We have only seen a little bit of play with Tootsie so far at the center. We thinks it's just a matter of her being relaxed enough to just have fun. Tootsie will be a wonderful companion. We think Tootsie may be happiest as your only kitty. It may be possible for her to be with a male cat with proper slow introductions, but the best thing may be solo. Tootsie is spayed, microchipped and is current with her vaccinations To meet Tootsie please complete an application on the Carver Scott Humane Society website. We are sure you will really enjoy meeting Tootsie

Story
A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by my friends at The Murray Fund. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $100.00 will be applied during the contract process Hi, my name is Hootie! I'm a transfer from a local impound in MN. From the foster: Hi, I'm Hootie! I bet you have never met a kitten as spunky as me! I love to do all your typical kitten things like running, jumping and pouncing! But you know what I love more? Wrestling! Once all my wrestling charades are over, I'm ready to snuggle and show you my soft side. I came into the rescue as a single kitten with no siblings, so I'm still learning to be a gentleman. Because I didn't have siblings to show me the ropes, I'm still a little mouthy and can play a bit rough with other cats and dogs, which means I might not be the best choice for small children. I would love to have a buddy to play with and continue to show me to be the best little kitty I can be! Medical Bio:Hello! Throughout my veterinary care at The Bond Between, it was discovered that I have a grade 4/6 heart murmur. I had a cardiologist and echocardiogram performed. The Vet Team recommends that I stay on my current medication and have an echocardiogram rechecked in 6 months. My future adopter can choose to pursue further cardiac consultation/treatment per a primary veterinarian's recommendations at their own expense.

Story
A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by my friends at The Murray Fund. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $75.00 will be applied during the contract process Hi, I'm Turtle Dove. I'm a transfer from a local MN shelter. From the foster: Turtle Dove is one independent lady. Her personality starts to shine bright once she gets to know you. She loves her chin scracthes and her cuddles. She has her zoomies and likes to solo play. She can be picky about her food and generally likes things her way and she isn't afraid to let you know. She's definitely a cat who takes a while to warm up, but once she does you'll find a loyal friend. She sleeps a lot and loves anything warm (heat pad, vents, blankets) so you can usually find her snoozing. She does ok with other cats, it just takes slow intros. She doesn't love kittens because she doesn't like to be pounced on or swatted at. Medical Bio: "Hi! My name is Turtle Dove and I cannot wait to meet you and settle into my forever home. I will need a home that is special and can provide some extra TLC. I have had a few issues that have been ongoing since I arrived in rescue. My main medical struggles have been with my arthritis/degenerative bone disease, currently being treated with a monthly injection, issues related to my Stage 2 chronic kidney disease, asthma and a few teeth that got extracted a few months ago. Kidney disease is fairly common in older kitties and cats that have a good plan for medical management can still live very full lives! My struggles have manifested in some loss of appetite or struggles with eating and occasionally blood in my urine. I will likely be on a prescription kidney diet for my remaining years. My foster mom says I have been dealing with my inhaler well and my asthma is well managed at this stage. I know it seems like I have a lot going on, however my vet team is very hopeful that I will continue to improve as long as my future family is able to keep up with this management plan! Hope to meet you soon, I know you'll fall in love with me in my golden years of being the perfect lap cat!"

Story
Hello world I'm Megalodon! Or as my foster parent's call me, MegaMan. I am the sweetest stripey guy you'll probably ever encounter. From day one I was fully myself. I've never had an issue expressing my personality and I probably never will. I am a TALKER. If you're looking for a good boy with a lot to say, look no further! I will announce myself when I come into the room, if I want to tell you a story, or if I think I might need a treat or dinner. My foster parents like to think that I'm telling them about my day when they get home from work. I LOVE getting pets! My favorites are belly rubs and chin scratches. You read that correctly, I love belly rubs. I wasn't kidding when I said I'm the sweetest guy! When my foster parents come up to me I will flop over and show my belly just so they know I'm open to pets. I'm not super snuggly yet but you'll find me sleeping near my foster parents as much as possible. In general, I'm just an all around happy kitty and I enjoy running around with my cat friends, playing with toys, and getting love from humans. I also love to watch the birds outside and catch that crazy red dot that shows up in the house sometimes! It only took me a day to acclimate to my foster home even though there were two other resident cats. I am definitely not shy and will love any other companions in the home. Even if they don't quite love me back yet! I'm a champion eater and litter box user. I've never had an issue and will never miss out on a meal or treat. My foster parents have even taught me some basic tricks because they figured out pretty quickly that I'm very very smart and food motivated. I would do best with another cat in the home, but I would probably be fine on my own as well. I play nice and know my place when I'm coming into a new environment. The only thing that I don't enjoy is being held/picked up. My foster mom can pick me up and I will comply but it is for very short periods of time. It's just not my cup of tea right now! If I want to be in your lap or to sit with you, I will make it known and initiate it myself.

I am from Minnesota. From her foster: Uno is shy and seems to be a one person cat. She only spends time with my daughter. Uno doesn't like to be held or sit on your lap. We have to bring her in to get her nails clipped every 4-5 weeks. She won't allow us to do it at home. Uno would adapt to a smaller family without pets. She eats cat food, but would prefer people food. She was a stray before we received her November 2023

Are you looking for a loving companion to share your quiet home with? Meet Okie, a beautiful cat with the softest fur you'll ever touch. Okie is a gentle and affectionate soul who thrives on companionship. While she's not a lap cat, she loves to be near her people, following you from room to room and curling up beside you in the evenings. After many happy years in a busy household with children and other pets, Okie is now seeking a calmer environment where she can relax and enjoy her golden years. She would do best in a home without young children, as the energy of toddlers has become a bit overwhelming for her and has reacted aggressively towards them. If you can offer Okie a peaceful retirement filled with love, gentle pets, and cozy naps, she will reward you with endless affection and purrs. To learn more about this sweet senior cat and how to welcome her into your home, please contact us today. Let's give Okie the loving retirement she deserves!

Bailey is a healthy 8 year old female short hair. We adopted her from a rescue when she was 10 weeks old. She was with her mom and siblings at the rescue. Bailey is very shy to new people and situations but loves to snuggle and play once she gets used to you. Her favorite person is our 12 year old daughter who has always treated her like a friend. Although quite independent she will let you know when she needs interaction whether it be that she wants to snuggle, needs food or water, or is in a playful mood and wants a play mate. She has a great relationship with our other cat and tolerates and teases our dog. She does hide when new people come to the house. A very sweet girl that just can’t come with us on our next adventure. :0(

Story
I am trying to find a home for my mother's pet cat "Shakespeare" Mom is no longer able to reliably care for her pet due to her age, physical ability and memory issues. Shakespear is an 18 year old "Tuxedo" cat who is on medication for Hypothyroidism (transdermal gel) he does not mind the ear massage to apply the medication. He was recently put on a renal support diet too. Other than the medication and special diet, Shakepeare's hearing & eyesight are excellent and appears not to suffer from arthritis because he enjoys playing with toys and gets the zoomies from time to time. He also likes to curl up in laps for a nap. He has only lived with mom, no other pet's and don't know how he would react to other pet's or a house full of people..probably just hide. We appreciate your consideration We have a copy of his most recent lab results that we can provide on request or any information from his veterinary clinic as well.
