Story
Meet Tonks! Tonks is a little shy but wants to be your BFF with time. Tonks is a Treeing Walker Coonhound, Labrador Retriever mix who was born on 09/03/2020. When she came to TLC she was nervous but deep down, Tonks is a gentle pup and we know that she could live the very best life with an owner who has the time and patience to show her that there is so much kindness out there.Tonks` adoption fee is sponsored so that covers her spay, microchip, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test (Tonks is negative!), and she is up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. If you`d like to meet Tonks, feel free to fill out an adoption application at tlchs.org or you are welcome to make a match making appointment to come out and meet her. We are open Tuesday through Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Story
Beatrice loves children! Beatrice is a sweet, loving, and smart girl who adores people and other dogs. And she really loves kids! When she sees a kid or kids, she holds very still and waits to be petted and hugged. You have never seen a dog’s eyes light up like Beatrice’s does when she sees a child.  She is really full of love and so social. When she sees a new person or dog, her tail starts thumping, and she’s really happy to meet everyone.  Beatrice just turned three, and we were curious to learn about her breed mix. Here's what we discovered: 66% Treeing Walker Coonhound 10% Plott Hound 4% Redbone Coonhound 3% Bluetick Coonhound 2% American Foxhound You can check out more details about her breed at  Beatrice's Wisdom Panel: https://www.wisdompanel.com/app/s/tw9m23y Beatrice's story is one of resilience. This beautiful brindle girl was abandoned on a road in Arkansas while pregnant, and sadly, her litter didn't survive. After fending for herself, she thought she'd found a home, only to be abandoned again. Thankfully, a local rescue stepped in, and Beatrice made her way to Atlanta, where she's hoping to find her true forever family. What makes Beatrice truly special are her love for children and other dogs, her soulful eyes, her stunning coat, and her eagerness to please. She's a social butterfly who enjoys playtime, and she has a deep desire to bond with a person she can call her own. She's a cuddler, happy to snuggle up and relax next to you, but she's also a true hound who would love to accompany you on outdoor adventures.  Because of her strong hunting instincts, a home with a fenced yard would be ideal to give her space to run while staying safe. Beatrice is potty trained and enjoys walks.  If you're looking for a beautiful, loyal companion to share your life with--whether it's watching TV on the couch or exploring the outdoors, Beatrice Beasley could be the perfect match. She's a special girl, and as her foster mom, I tell her that every day. My biggest hope is that she finds someone who will see just how special she is and give her the loving home she deserves. Could that someone be you? Story
Dougie is an amazing 3 year old dog. We got him from the Humane Society as a puppy. We are unsure of his breed but we believe maybe a mix of beagle, bulldog, and/or pit. He has always done great with our young children (aside from jumping) and has played well with dogs when we have boarded him at a local place when out of town as well as our neighbors dog. However, he is very dominant and does not do well with the other older dog in our home which is the primary reason for rehoming. He would do great in a home where he is the ONLY pet which is what we are hoping to find for him.
