Norma was picked up as a stray and no one ever showed up to claim her. We do not know what she thinks of cats. Norma is about 10 years young and 48 pounds. Please help Norma find a loving home for her to live out her golden years. From her foster Mom: Norma has the sweetest personality. She is very calm and laid back. She has perfect house manners, so she does not need to be crated if she is home alone. She is fully housebroken and lets us know when she needs to go outside. She sleeps well through the night and prefers to spend her nights near her humans. Norma might be a senior in age, but she still loves to go on walks and should be exercised daily. She walks very well and easy on the leash. After her walks she is satisfied to doze the day away. During her walks she is always happy to see her doggy friends, but she prefers her home to be a quiet and calm environment. So a home without other dogs or small kids would be preferable.She is not very steady on slippery indoor stairs (wood stair), so a home without might be preferable or plenty of rug runners for better traction. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
