Story
So my foster mom named me Jager (after one of her favorite drinks... JagerMEISTER....) I am not sure why I remind her of drinking... but I definitely prefer a name and a foster home with food EVERY DAY and LOVE with ALL KINDS OF STUFFED TOYS to starving on the streets....so call me whatever you want foster lady, I am OK with it!! I am a busy boy, with the most SWEET nature. I LOVE toys and other dogs and would really be best in a home with a playful friend and kids too? I even like kitties!!! I will promise to be a good boy and love you as much as you will love me :) I am a Weimer/hound mix we think!!! Hard to tell my breed mix, I have the most GORGEOUS SILVER fur but it is very hard to identify what my mom was and what my dad was.... we generally call it San Antonio Street Special- and I am SPECIAL! ADOPT ME, I AM WAITING FOR YOU, I can even bring my OWN TOYS TOO :) Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hello, future family! 👋 My name is Princess, and I am the most beautiful girl you'll ever meet! 🌟 Since my brothers found their forever homes, I’ve been coming out of my shell and showing off my sweet and charming personality. 🥰 My big floppy ears and wise, soulful eyes will melt your heart. I’m a blend of Pitbull and Weimaraner, giving me a wonderfully balanced energy level. At just five months old, I’m full of life and ready for endless playtime! 🐾 Whether it’s chasing balls, romping with canine friends, or curling up in your lap for cuddles and nap time, I’m always down for anything! 🎾 Currently, I’m living in a foster home with dogs, cats, and kids, and I get along great with everyone – even the cats! 🐱 I absolutely love curling up on the couch with my kitty friends. 🛋️ My foster family has been helping me with potty training and crate training, and I'm proud to say I’m now completely potty trained 🚽 and do really well in my crate. 🏠 I’m a quick learner with a sharp mind, eager to master new skills every day. 📚 While I'm still perfecting my leash manners, my intelligence and willingness to please make me a joy to train. 🐕 I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventures together! 🌈 Love, Princess 👑 If you're ready to welcome a royal addition into your home, Princess is eager to wear her crown with pride. 👸 Don't miss your chance to make this adorable pup a part of your kingdom! 🏡 Princess is still young, so she will need a family committed to training, socialization, and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with leash training and provide daily exercise. 🏃‍♂️ We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. 🐾 Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/660abec971f702946e0ceb9d Please email elizabethbower@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Looking for a loyal friend who loves adventures like hiking, swimming and camping?? Axel is the perfect dog for you- he loves being in the great outdoors! If this doesn’t make him perfect enough, have to see his adorably goofy ears and his long kissable snout. How could you not fall in love?? This happy boy is searching for a family he can greet with his most enthusiastic wiggle butt when they walk in the door- you can't help but smile and laugh! Axel is friendly and loveable- making him the perfect addition to any family! We think Axel is a Greyhound/Weimaraner/silver lab mix, but we aren’t really sure- so we just call him our Texas Special- which is the very best kind of dog. Axel is a little less than a year old, weighs 45 pounds and is being fostered in Houston, Texas with kids and other dogs and can be transported to his new family in the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. In the home, he is energetic and playful, enjoying running around and playing with toys. He's also quite vocal, using his big bark to express himself. He is an independent guy who appreciates his own space but absolutely enjoys cuddling when the mood strikes. Playing with his 2 young human foster brothers is a favorite pastime of Axel’s. He would do great in a family with children who have been taught proper boundaries (all dogs need this). Axel is high-energy and loves to play with other dogs, especially roughhousing and chasing. He is currently being fostered with three male dogs (40, 55 and 80 pounds) and two 50 pound females. He is a little too interested in cats to be in a home with them. In play groups, he tends to have a favorite dog and prefers one-on-one play rather than big group activities. He definitely needs a house with a yard to run around in. Car rides? Yes, please! Axel rides great in the car and would love to go with you to run errands, grab coffee, or a late night snack. Adventures?? Axel wears a harness and is good on the leash. His foster family recently took him camping and he had the best time swimming and hiking! Axel passes other dogs on leash in public with ease. He may need encouragement in new public environments. Axel knows how to sit and is super food motivated which will help with his continued training. Crate Trained? YES Potty Trained? YES If this adventurous boy sounds like he belongs in your life, apply below so his adoption coordinator can reach out to you and see if you are a match! To meet Gunner, please submit an application at www.thehausofdogs.com/adopt . Meet Gunner, a soulful rescue dog whose journey has led him to seek solace and companionship in the midst of adversity. Surrendered by animal control alongside his loyal companion Mocha, Gunner's world was turned upside down when a welfare check revealed the passing of his beloved owner. Suddenly finding himself in the confines of an overcrowded shelter in San Antonio, TX, Gunner's gentle nature and yearning for love shine through, despite the uncertainty that surrounds him. Gunner's disposition speaks volumes about his character - submissive, shy, and gentle, he embodies resilience in the face of life's challenges. Having lost his anchor and protector, Gunner now seeks a safe haven where he can flourish and thrive once again. His heart is filled with an unspoken desire for a loving home, where he can find comfort, security, and the unwavering affection he so desperately craves. Gunner eagerly awaits the opportunity to share his love and companionship with a kind-hearted soul. He is available for adoption on his own, or with Mocha. Story
Adorable Abby - a loving 7 year-old Weimaraner with a soulful past and eyes that tell tales. Born into a life of breeding in Mexico, Abby's initial years weren't filled with the love and warmth that every dog deserves. Abby's striking appearance, with those profound, beautiful eyes, stands in contrast to the cruelty she once endured. Now healthy, spayed, vaccinated and at a comfortable 68 lbs, Abby has began a new chapter - one of second chances, and hope. Now, amidst her canine siblings and doting foster, Abby is steadily learning what it means to be cherished. But with memories of her past still echoing, Abby would thrive best in an adult-only home where the rhythms of life are gentle, and full of love and understanding. Abby's simple joys? Feeling the warmth of a hug, being spoiled with love, and of course, her bedtime ritual. As night falls, Abby finds comfort wrapped under her blanket, feeling secure and loved. Abby has gained so much confidence, is excellent on a leash and loves her daily walks through the countryside or nearby park in the evening. If you are looking for a steady four legged partner in life - filled with whispered conversations, cozy cuddles, and soulful gazes, consider opening your heart and home to Abby. She awaits a forever home, where the echoes of her past are replaced with love and warmth. To apply: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PCRR/Dog #AbbysNewBeginnings #HopeInHerEyes #SecondChancesMatter Pacific Rim Rescue will transport Abby anywhere in the United States via one of our board members - to the right adoptive home. Though, if there is a wonderful, kind and compassionate adopter or foster in Vancouver/British Columbia or Alberta, Canada or Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, California or Nevada - even better!
