Hi! I’m Archie. They think I’m a wirehaired terrier mix—but my foster mom says I might also be part kangaroo, because I’m super bouncy!
I’m learning so much every day—like how to be a good housemate (I’m great about going “outside” when it’s time!), how to respect boundaries (especially with other dogs who might not be in the mood to play), and just how sweet life can be when you're safe and cared for. I’m smart, treat-motivated, and always eager to learn.
I love meeting new friends—humans and dogs alike—and I’m a speedy little guy who zips around with excitement when something fun is happening. I’m playful, curious, and I really like curling up for a cozy nap while my foster mom works.
I’ve got energy to burn, love to give, and a whole lot of heart packed into this scruffy little frame. I’m ready to find a home where I can give and receive love, grow into my best self, and finally be part of a family. Could that be with you?
Archie is estimated to be 1 year old and 9 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
