Story
Meet Sterling, a gentle and sweet-natured boy who’s ready to bring joy into your home! Sterling is a scruffy, wire-haired guy looking for love- the only thing bigger than his heart is his ears! This happy boy has a playful, silly demeanor that is sure to keep you laughing. His favorite things are affection and hanging out with people. Treats are a close second, which makes training a breeze!
Sterling has typical puppy energy and loves running zoomies around the yard, going for walks, and checking out all the toys. He’s also been enjoying trips to the pet store and other dog-friendly places! He is house trained and sleeps in his crate overnight and when his foster parents are out. Sterling lives with an older dog in his foster home and loves playing with her. He appreciates a slow introduction when meeting new dogs. Sterling has done well with the kids he’s met. He has yet to meet a cat while in his foster home.
Whether you’re looking for a cuddle bug or adventure companion, Sterling is the guy for you!
Sterling is estimated to be 10 months old and 32 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
