Story
Cochise was born on October 30, 2017. He is 6 years old. He just had his yearly wellness appointment in July and is up to date on all his shots. Cochise likes to be by himself and doesn't care much to play with other dogs, but he does get along with other dogs. He is food / treat motivated, and doesn't care much for toys. He loves to cuddle and will be your shadow. He is house trained. He does have anxiety and is vocal when he sees other people or hears people outside.

Story
Cosmo is a 3 1/2 year old full blooded Yorkshire Terrier, larger in size than most at 11 lbs. He loves to cuddle, play catch and full of happy energy. He gets along great with ALL people, kids, dogs and cats. He spends his days at doggie daycare while I work so he's used to socializing with dogs of all types. I got Cosmo when he was 2 the worst way possible, through Craigslist. I paid a big price for that when I learned 4 days later that he had Parvo. He's a survivor! Due to that experience and probably the puppy mill that he was born from in Mexico, he started his life quite anxious. For that reason I give him anti anxiety medication which he could probably be weaned from at this point, I just haven't committed to working through the process (it's not an expensive medication at @$40 a month). The only challenge with Cosmo is that he doesn't like to be alone for more than 4-5 hours and daycare ($1000+ mo) has become cost prohibitive. I would love to find him a stable happy home.

Story
Looking for a permanent family home for foster dog; we have a 4 year old yorkie foster dog that has been with us temporarily and we are looking for a permanent home for her. She is well groomed, healthy and house-trained. The primary requirements for a new space for her would be a mid-large sized home with a backyard ( we are currently in a large studio and she does much better in larger spaces than this and definitely needs outside access)as she is still young and needs space to roam around and loves laying outdoors in the sun. We would highly prefer a family with kids as she absolutely loves spending time with children and our main concern is that she goes to a stimulating and loving environment where she gets lots of playtime and attention. She is fixed and up to date on vaccines but will need one shot later on in the year. Ideally her new home would have one work from//in the home parent as she does better with this environment ,but it is not 100% required.

Story
Lars brings the more to Labs and More as a 18 lb Yorkie and possibly Norwich Terrier mix. This pint sized cutie found himself in the shelter with a broken leg. Thankfully we were able to rescue this boy, get him the surgery he needed and now he is doing well recovering in a foster home. Lars is obedient and eager to please with a loving, affectionate and cuddly personality. He is a great lap dog. Lars is crate trained, walks well on leash with just a little pulling and has learned his commands Stay, Sit and Place. He is good with young children, rides well in the car and did well when he was groomed. Lars does bark a bit at other dogs and needs a slow introduction with other dogs and time to adjust so is probably not a good dog park dog. He may be happiest as the only dog in his forever home, but would do ok with other dogs with a proper introduction. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Lars, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Story
Pika's personality can be described as: a cat in a dog's body. He is beautiful but only allows you to pet him on his terms, which is rarely. He grumbles/growls when affection is unwanted and retreats to his crate. He loves laying in the shade. Pika will tolerate dog's in the house but will go after outsiders on/off leash. He takes medication for allergies and she has a collapsing trachea. Pika is potty trained but still needs a belly band indoors to avoid occasional marking. He will do best in a quiet serene setting so not to aggravate his cough by barking. He has lameness in his back legs which cause him to occasionally stumble and fall when walking. For his age, Pika has good pep and will bring cat joy in dog form for many more years. He is part of Thrive's Forever Foster Program - Thrive covers all age related care to keep your Forever Foster comfortable and thriving! ##1781400##
