Meet Finn: Your Adventure Buddy in a Pint-Sized Package! Finn is a 6-month-old Yorkie mix with a heart full of love and an impressive set of skills. Currently, he is 8lbs. He should weigh between 10-20 lbs as an adult. This little guy has "soul dog" potential. Finn loves people so much that he literally leaps into your arms, and we’re starting to think he might have kangaroo genes with how high he can jump! Finn's the ultimate playmate, excelling at fetch (he’ll bring the ball back and drop it at your feet!) and tug-of-war. If you don’t feel like going for a hike or a run, a good game of fetch will tire him out. Finn’s love is boundless, but he does come with a few quirks. He’s mouthy which means he uses his mouth to demand attention. This will improve with training and as he grows out of the velociraptor stage of puppyhood, but right now, Finn isn’t suited to a home with small children. Finn also struggles with some separation anxiety and will make his displeasure known if left alone. Finn would thrive in a home where he can be with his people most of the time, and with a family who will work on training as you would with any puppy. Training will help Finn with his separation issues. Finn loves to play with other dogs and is still learning proper manners. However, he can be a bit of an annoying young whippersnapper, especially to older or more laid-back dogs, so he’d do best as an only dog or with playful canine companions. Potty training is still a work in progress, but Finn is smart and eager to learn, so consistency and patience will go a long way. Finn would make a great match for an active adopter looking for a small but mighty companion. He loves hikes, runs, and even errands, happily riding along in a backpack carrier.
