If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.     Adoption Fee: $650   Spaghetti is a 2 year old Yorkie x Chihuahua (Chorkie) mix who is twirling up forkfuls of cuteness for his forever home! Spaghetti was rescued from the shelter with a few of his culinary companions. We took one look at his puppy dog eyes and knew this little man had to come with us. Spaghetti hit the scene and our lives haven’t been the same since! This little man weighs 11 pounds and we promise at least 20% of that is his big Dumbo ears! Come and order up a delicious plate of Spaghetti today!       Spaghetti is a handsome little gentleman who is ready to take the world by storm with his humans at his side! He is totally Mr. Personality and boy does he know how to work those puppy dog eyes to get all the treats he could ever want! It also doesn’t help that he has adorable Dumbo ears and a multicolored little wet nose that is constantly wiggling with excitement. Spaghetti also loves his playtime, and he has an ever-growing collection of plush toys he would love to continue in his forever home. Another collection he has? His bowties! He is a total dapper dan! He’s always down for an adventure even though he has little legs. Don’t let that fool you: he can hop up and down the trails and local landmarks with the big dogs! At the end of the day, when Spaghetti has gotten his fill of excitement, he is ready to curl up in a ball under your blankets and snooze the night away. He’s basically a perfect pup in a portable little body, so he will be able to join you on trips to the coffee shop for pup cups or on holidays where you spoil him like he deserves!  Spaghetti wakes up around 7 AM and heads out on a morning walk before everyone starts getting ready for the day. He eats breakfast before he settles in to play with his toys for a few hours. He naps for the rest of the morning until he heads into the yard to stretch his legs at lunchtime. Once everyone comes home from work, he heads out on another walk before enjoying dinner around 6 PM. In the evening, he hangs out on the couch getting all the cuddles until he heads off to bed.  Spaghetti has previously lived with dogs of varying ages and sizes. He loves his canine pals and would be a fabulous companion pup. Spaghetti can make even the strongest #TeamCat voice move over to the dog side with his effortless charm and personality. He is house trained and crate trained. The total package! If you’re ready for a gourmet addition to your family, adopt Spaghetti!      Spaghetti is an option for any home, regardless of prior dog owning experience. Kids should be over the age of 5.January 9, 2025, 3:24 am

If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.     Adoption Fee: $800   Tiny Taylor is a 10 month old Yorkie ready to dazzle her forever people! Taylor was rescued from the shelter with a few of her superstar pals when they reached out for assistance due to overcrowding. Taylor is a little pipsqueak, clocking in at only five pounds! This little darling hopped right into our arms and snuggled close as we broke her out of the kennel. Now, she’s ready to make a name for herself in the world. If you’ve been looking for a little girl with ears the size of her heart, meet Tiny Taylor!     Taylor is a happy go lucky girl who adores her humans as much as she loves her snuggles. She’s a little rolly polly who’s always down for a belly rub or a scratch behind her ears. Taylor is a total velcro dog who would be a perfect fit for someone who works from home, as she wants to sit in on all your meetings to make sure you are bringing home the treats! Taylor loves to explore and wants everyone to know that even though she is small, she can scramble up any hiking trail you want to embark on! Taylor has adorable zoomies and is constantly making her foster mom laugh with her silly antics. Her current hobby is dragging along toys bigger than her as she races from room to room. However, once she has tired herself out, she’s ready to snuggle in your lap with a fluffy blanket! Taylor’s dream home is one full of love and cuddles for her. She just wants to spend her days by your side as she keeps you company through all of life’s adventures. She’s just ready to take the world by storm and show you how much amazingness she has in store!  Taylor wakes up around 6:30 AM and heads outside for a potty trip. She enjoys her breakfast before following her foster mom around the house as she gets ready for the day. She heads out on her morning stroll and then settles in for a day of work. She either lounges on foster mom’s lap or in a dog bed with her canine foster sibling. She goes out every few hours into the yard to stretch her legs and play with a toy. She goes on an evening walk around 5:30 before coming home for dinner. She ends her day with snuggles and playtime with her toys. Bedtime is at 9:30 PM when she heads back into her playpen for the night.  Taylor lives with a 20 pound dog who she loves to play with. She wishes the cat would be her bestie… but she settles for making every human she meets a member of her fan club! Taylor loves her walks and is very alert to the comings and goings of the neighborhood. She is almost fully housetrained. Taylor is so excited to meet you and start her fabulous next adventure!      Taylor is an option for homes who have previously owned a dog. Due to her small size, kids should be over the age of 7.January 9, 2025, 3:24 am

Story
Rosie's story is a bit tragic and complicated. Not very long ago, Rosie suffered a traumatic event to her head which left her blind and with the difficulty of being able to walk straight (resolved), find her food or water, and ultimately survive without very special help. She was taken to the emergency hospital severely dehydrated, comatose, and near death. Her owners, who loved her very much, were unable to afford care and thus without treatment Rosie would have been euthanized. Seeing that Rosie has so much to do and so much love to receive and give, one of the emergency technicians on staff requested she be surrendered to the hospital where the technician could provide financial support, treatment, and rehabilitation to Rosie. Rosie fought hard and long for her recovery, and she won 🙂 Rosie is now rehabilitated and independent! Rosie's last challenge is to find her forever home :)

Story
Meet Louie, a small dog with a big heart and a lot of love to give! This sweet, sensitive boy is looking for a calm and understanding home where he can feel safe and cherished. Though Louie may be a little shy at first, his gentle nature and loving personality shine through once he feels comfortable.Unfortunately, Louie was attacked by another dog in the past, which has made him a bit more cautious and selective with his canine companions. While he's not necessarily a "social butterfly" with other dogs, he's perfectly happy being the only pet in the home or living with a calm, respectful dog that understands his boundaries. He's a loyal companion who thrives in a quiet, stable environment. He loves his human friends and will form a strong bond with anyone who treats him with kindness and patience. Whether it's curling up for cuddles or going for a walk, Louie is ready to show you just how much love he has to give. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Grey Weight: 9.25 Age: 2yrs 1mths 1wks

Story
Please meet Augie. He is such a calm, sweet guy. He NEEDS a home. He is so gentle that he just doesn't do well in a rescue situation. It can be a foster home or a forever home. But a home he needs! He has gained some weight in rescue but with regular walks and outings, I am sure he will get back to a good weight. He does well with other dogs but he prefers to just stay out of trouble and clear of hoopla! I just know he would LOVE to have someone to spend time with him. Doesn't need much...just some love. If you think Augie might work in your life, please text your interest to be sent on online application form or print your own from the Forms section at wrenyorkierescue.org as well as reading the “how it works” section to understand the Rescue process. Again, even a foster would be wonderful! As a foster, if you live near the rescue, we will supply his food. Thanks for considering sweet Augie.

Story
SEPT 2024: Miss Tazzie is a very affectionate & companionable girl who likes to keep her person in sight at all times-i.e. she will follow whenever her person moves into another room or outside, and becomes quite vocal when left behind; also VERY vocal with pleasure at her person’s return, only quieting down once her person enters the home, sits down & says SHUSH. For this reason TAZ needs a detached home with yards, rather than an apartment building, and preferably another canine housemate to play with; If you can provide a suitable environment for a dog with vocal separation anxiety, please revisit Wrenyorkierescue.org & read the “how it works” section to understand the Rescue process, or text the number below to request a fill-in-online application if you don’t have a printer.
