A good Samaritan rescued her but was unable to keep her due to her own health issues and contacted Save A Yorkie. Charlotte was very timid and startled easily when she first came to us, but with lots of love and stability has come out of her shell. She is a fun, feisty companion who loves to be outdoors, enjoys playing with her toys, our other dogs, running and exploring our backyard. She is well behaved for a two-year-old but would benefit from professional training. She loves her person and has a protective streak. She would do well in a home where she receives a lot of time and attention. She will follow you everywhere. Daily exercise is an absolute must for her to release some of her energy. Car rides are not a favorite, she does best when crated for the ride. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She will require a yard with a 6 foot fence. The adoption fee for both girls is $1,000.00. Mallory (shorter with downturned ears): Mallory is just a little love bug. She is your shadow and will follow you everywhere. Once settled in on the couch next to you she’ll begin to demand her belly rub time. Mallory is more outgoing than her sister and adapts to new noises and situations almost immediately. Mallory is still learning to walk on a leash and not stop and pull. With each walk she gets better and less distracted. Mallory is almost perfect with her potty training and can hold it through the whole night. Mallory has so much puppy energy and loves to play with her sister and her toys. She has her zoomie outbursts with her sister and then comes running to cuddle up next to you and settles in for belly rubs. Overall she’s a really outgoing little girl that seems to love everyone she meets. Scroll down to see more pictures of this dog. Millie is part of a bonded pair of Yorkies and will have to be adopted with her sister Mallory. She is 2 years old and weighs 8 lbs. The adoption fee for both girls is $1,000.00. Millie is so loving and wants to be near you at all times. She’s comfortable laying in her bed or the couch but prefers to be nestled next to you for pets. Millie is a little more timid than her sister but adapts to new noises and situations quickly. We’re still working on walking on a leash and she’s getting more confident each time. Millie is almost perfect with her potty training and can make it through the whole night. Millie loves to play with toys with her sister but doesn’t feel comfortable playing with toys with us yet. She gets out her excess energy with some of the most impressive zoomies in the fenced backyard. Overall she’s just a really sweet loving little girl. Dupris is part of a bonded pair of Yorkies and will have to be adopted with his brother Deno. He is 6 years old and weighs 9 lbs. The adoption fee for both dogs is $800.00. Dupris and Deno came to us on Saturday the day after Ruff left. It is a treat for us to have a bonded pair and to watch them play and cavort together. Deno is the more outgoing of the two and he laps up attention and loves to lick faces. Dupris is less sure of novelty but has adjusted well and appears quite at home on our chaise lounge. They were surrendered because of illnesses in their family and had been home alone for a while before they came to us so they were a bit rambunctious at first. In the beginning, I kept them crated when I went out but the past few days I have left them without crating them and they have behaved very well and greeted me warmly when I got home. They have their vet appointments scheduled for next week and their neuter scheduled for November 12th.
