Story
Hazel is a 4-year-old, 60 lb. Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix who was dumped at a shelter pregnant last summer. She had 8 beautiful pups and has been patiently waiting on someone to choose her. Hazel is dog selective and is an alpha. She should be okay with another dog as long as she is the alpha and has a slow introduction. She was excellent with her pups as they got older and found homes. She is more relaxed with other dogs around and awaits patiently for the other dogs to come out to run with her up and down the fence at her foster home (there is a fence in between). She has done fine with a younger female dog and has played with her, but she did not so well with another dominant female. Hazel is super sweet and loves to run, play, and be pet and loved on. She has just had a rough go of it and takes time to build trust. She has a lot of energy and needs a lot of exercise. Hazel will need a patient person to give her plenty of love and attention.

Story
Patches is 8 months old and is such a sweet boy who is dog and kid friendly. He is also house trained as well. Patches is just a happy go lucky boy. He has been waiting for over 6 months for his home. We pulled Hazel, Patches' mom, from Duplin County Animal Shelter last summer. Hazel was going to be euthanized at the shelter. Hazel ended up being pregnant when we pulled her and two of her pups are still left and one is Patches. We do not know what breed the father was, but Hazel is a Siberian Husky/Shepherd Mix.
